Sure enough, I'm a fan and the fans rankings were way closer to my own opinion than their "experts." Of course my opinion counts no more than any other fans.

Favre v. Sterger

Postby LadyHawk » Fri Nov 05, 2010 1:28 pm

Nice...I love how FOX Sports is now saying that Jenn Sterger's behavior is making them more sympathetic to Favre. While I understand their position and they COULD be right, I just laugh at their typical fish-wrapper media-style way of posting a photo of her that makes her look a bit "crazy." Cheap trick.

LOL, like I take Mark Kriegel's opinion as definitive anyway.

LOL... I know. I'm open to hearing the arguments from both sides of it. The fact that she is "taking her time" could mean nothing. Or it could mean she has an agenda. Hard to know...

I didn't bother to read or listen to everything that has been revealed about the case - it's not that important to me - but my impression is that she isn't the one who is pushing it.

I absolutely agree. Let's vote last week out of existence and start over.

Good Morning Swiss Family,

What's the over/under on what time Wade Phillips will get fired today? I'm thinking 3pm Central time.

I'm looking forward to peaceful co-existence this week.

I don't know about Wade, but I'd like to see Sparano go too. Problem is--Ross doesn't know the first thing about football, and I'm not sure Marc Antony would be a great replacement... BTW, GOOD MORNING SWITZERLAND! Peaceful sounds good, 16. (

JUST FOOTBALL

Postby LadyHawk » Mon Nov 08, 2010 11:18 am

I thought it was interesting last night when Chris Collinsworth talked about how the Cowboys fans are making noise that they want either Bill Cowher or Jon Gruden - yet no one knows if either are interested in coaching again.

Someone IS paying attention to the Cowboy nation's viral efforts regarding Bill Cowher. Wow. Cool...the power of technology at work.

My guess is that it will take more than a new head coach to fix the Cowboys. The players have been mailing it in and that's hard to fix.

As another Cowboys' fan said yesterday, "I just witnessed a bunch of millionaires show up to collect a pay check but not even work for it."

Honestly, I'm not a Cowboys' fan. But I don't wish anything bad for them either. I do feel sorry (a bit) for their fans. It hurts to have a team tank like that.

Phillips is gone, and they elevated Jason Garrett to interim HC? Garrett is useless too.

Jerry Jones finally grew a pair. Well...someone has to be interim until they find a permanent replacement. Just watch...it will probably be Jerry himself.

LH I just said the same thing elsewhere. Let's face it, who ever gets the gig will just be another puppet for JJ. I agree, he's owner, GM already so ya let him run the show and see how well he does.

Gruden is under contract with ESPN until 2013. My bet if Cowher goes anywhere it would be Carolina since that's his home turf.

Yes they can but one must wonder why Gruden would leave the comfy booth to work for such a moron. Parcells didn't take sheet off JJ. JJ needs a yes man...I think he'll go after a college coach this time.
