Camarillo - not sure about that cut but the Vikes sure need some WR help. W/ Rice out for several (6?) wks and Harvin's headache issues, AP will be doubled up or more and I'm not sure Favre will last the season... But, that said, Favre has made great WR's out of unheard of players. Bringing Javon Walker back???

"You are so right about that one Bags. Sidney Rice last year, Jevon Walker, Robert Ferguson, and a host of other guys. The latter two mentioned haven't had a good season anywhere they've been since their Favre days either.

Hi there Reecey, TT (if you're both still here)

Reecey, lots of XM Fantasy talking heads are big on Kolb - we'll see. Loved my Maclin pick up last season in FFL.

TT, keep the faith on your Phins. I agree Marshall should be a good one for ya.

? for either of you or anyone wanting to make a suggestion. I have both the Saints and Steelers DST on my fantasy team and need to drop one. Which one????

Keep the Steelers DST. The Saints did a really good job forcing turnovers last year, and their Special Teams also scored a few touchdowns. BUT, they gave up huge numbers in the yardage department, and that brought their Fantasy scoring numbers way down.

The Steelers force a lot of turnovers, get sacks, picks, and are one of the stingiest defenses as far as yardage is concerned. You won't see as many Special Teams heroics, but overall they are the better team's DST to keep for fantasy. Much more consistant, and fruitful.

Hi Baglady!!

Anyone else see that funny DirecTV commercial where the cop tasers his fellow FFL buddy because the guy is able to use DirectTV to track his players? I laugh every time!

Thanks Reecey, that was kind of my thinking but wow, what an awful showing last night by the Steelers. Their D is gonna have to carry them cause the O sure won't although it sounds like Ben's suspension may be reduced to 4 wks.

BTW, nice game for your TX's Sat night. Getting me worried about wk 1!

As badly as the Colts played GB, Dallas might have played worse - then again, maybe not...

Hey HG. I haven't gotten to see that commercial yet! I can't wait to watch some NFL Network tomorrow morning.

I spent my entire weekend away from home. I caught the Texans game, and bits of the Chiefs game....and that was it. Went to Karaoke, the DJ was expecting a rough and slow night, so I upped the ante and sort of saved the day. After a while, there were a bunch of drunks up there ready to sing everything! Great night. Some pretty lady pulled me to do two songs with her, and then bought me a shot too.

Hi there LH, feeling better I hope? Yes, I've seen that commercial - too funny. Some fantasy players take things way TOO seriously. It can consume you but I just do it for fun and a bit of a challenge. Didn't realize how little I knew about other teams players. And I did a live draft for the 1st time - INTENSE!

I still have yet to see the Colts-GB game. I'm sure I will tomorrow or Wednesday morning. It's beautiful being able to watch football all day.

I'm not a fan of anybody Fantasy wise on the Steeler team. It's just not what they do. And sending off Santonio Holmes eliminated their only offensive homerun threat (Mike Wallace is going to have to prove himself before I label him as one Speed Demon or not). Dixon played ok, but as a group, Pit didn't play all too well. Looks like Hines Ward will get a heavy workload this year. Teams are going to stack the box on them and dare Dixon/Leftwich/Roethlisberger to beat them in the air. And with no compliment for Ward, those guys are probably looking at a rough year. Maybe they should think about bringing in Antonio Bryant?

Texans played very well, and I think Jacoby Jones will supplant Kevin Walter as the #2 receiver. They have featured him a lot more this preseason, and put in some more packages designed specifically for him. His emergence as a WR hurts us in the return game, because he was a special teams ace at kick and punt returns. Geeze! Now, we're trying to fill that gap. Every facet of the game was terrific for the Texans this past week. Our thing is, can we do that consistantly? I sure hope so.

I don't think I have the stomach to watch the Colts - GB game again - ugh... Several cuts have already been made and believe Brandon James is history. First series was great - after that, all downhill. Just awful.... Good news is Brackett's injury was just a bruise and he's back at practice.

No doubt some team will pick up Bryant - Dolphins???

I was wondering about Brackett. Losing him would be a blow of monstrous proportions. He is in on every play no matter where it seems to be on the field. A definite assett! Addai seems to only have suffered from wooziness and not a concussion, so he is back and ready to go now too. He has been having a good preseason. I guess he is trying to fend off Donald Brown from taking his #1 spot.

Hey Bags? How is the receiver depth chart after Reggie Wayne?

I don't see how the coaches will be able to pick who to start out of Garcon, Gonzalez, and Collie. Tough, having all those wonderful toys to play with. That danged Peyton...

No question Brackett is the heart and captain of the D. Addai's in the last yr of his contract so I'm sure he wants to be in the best position possible when renewal comes up. He did have a nice TD run to start the GB game. He really gives the O lots of options. I'm hoping Brown comes up big behind him and then there's Hart. Hope we can just use D Moore on ST's...
And Clark is back practicing. Big question is Saturday's return.

Jake Delhomme actually looked pretty good for the Browns this past weekend too. Very shocking! Maybe he just realizes this is his last chance?

I wonder if there has been a more boring QB battle than that raging between Derek Anderson and Matt Leinart in Arizona?

The only one I can think of that rivaled that was Brady Quinn and Derek Anderson in Cleveland last year. Lol.

Reecey, "boring" is perfect to describe the QB battle in AZ. Think they're really gonna miss both Warner and Boldin. Probably won't bother LH a bit!

LH, hope you're back to 100% soon!

I need get going. Reecey, LH and CK - enjoy your evening. Only a couple of weeks till REAL MNF begins :D

LOL - I'm not feeling particularly threatened by AZ this season. 49ers will be the team we have to get past. I don't expect us to get to the playoffs either. But I will say this: just in this preseason, I have seen our offense AND defense play with MORE HEART than I have seen in about 3-4 seasons. That makes ME happy.

Have a great evening Baglady! Luv ya!

Definitely so. The last four months, I could catch myself going a full week or two without even turning on my telivision. Now I watch everyday again. It's finally important, and relevant again.

You guys went through three different coaches in the last three seasons too. Holmgren-to Mora Jr- and now finally to Carroll. I have a feeling that this time around Carroll is gonna be around for a while. That dude sure showed that he knows how to run a farm system, and he definitely has a supreme eye for talent.
