I gotta tell ya CK....
I've never wanted so badly to see someone eat their words! ;)

Time will tell.

However any good QB is - they are nothing without a good team to help them along. Would Montana (woot woot) have been as good as he was without Rice?

No glitch, you just started typing in the middle of my post so it looks like it was me saying it.( that's why I said you're putting words in my mouth) Look at the post and you will see what I typed then there was a space between where I started the next line and that is where you typed in your thoughts. So then the rest of mine showed up after it... ;)

Oh... I have NOT forgotten where Welker came from...

Just one of those things..... and it could be a chemistry thing also. I'm sure there are many players not living up to their potential because they are not playing with the right guys. Just like any good marriage.... when things click they are that much better.

Welker is just a class act. Much like Tedy was for our defense. We have been blessed with some players with real heart for the game. Once in a while there are guys you just can't not appreciate - no matter who they play for.

I have to run along and get some things done while I feel up to it.
My energy still not lasting all day so I need to take advantage of my window. ;)

Glad you guys were here when I popped in! Was great talking to you - even though you are hating on my QB

It's all good though...... by the end of the season you MAY be eating crow! I can hope anyway!

As far as the jets go this year CK. Taylor will prove to be an asset I'm sure. I also have a feeling about their QB... he's very young but if he matures nicely HE will be another one to watch.... and they have some other great players on their team. I'm hating it but at least Shadow may have some happy days and I can't be upset about that I guess.

Class act, huh? Knock someone up and then marry someone else? Ha ha ha. Seriously though, I'm just messing with you about Brady. I love you, girl

Hope to see you more often--and of course, after baby's next appointment and maybe another ultrasound? Give hugs to our shadow and be sure to tell him that I hope all the egos on his JETS get crazy and destroy the chemistry of the team--j/k (no really). Love love love you!!!

You left too, huh Try?

It's really been nice visiting with you all today. Thanks for making me smile--those are my best days!

It was typical. I spent all morning preparing for sometime that proved inconsequential. Everybody seems to take petty things so seriously! People are starving, women are being stoned to death, whole groups are being slaughtered and they are caught up in a project to repave the streets in the district with brick. It's as if they were afraid to look at what is going on in the world.

Sometimes it is just easier for people to throw themselves into mindless projects than to face the overwhelming problems of the world. Sometimes I grow so tired of the politics that I wish I could be like that... Here I could get involved in saving the Art Deco District or building the membership of the Chamber of Commerce--or just turn all the outside world off and throw myself into my writing--or nothing at all. So far, I've been unable to hide my head, but I do feel myself growing tired...

I went to the early service this morning (I had lector duty) and missed breakfast. I'm figuring on a big Cajun lunch though.

Just wanted to pop in and make a comment about the games yesterday.

That Brady looked pretty good (sticks her tongue out at ck like the brat she is)..... And I'm still loving the little engine that could (and does) Welker looks like he has bounced back in true miracle fashion.... almost like he was never hurt - I LOVE that little guy
More than anything I would like to thank my local CBS station for actually airing this game! Was a big surprise to see it.... couldn't have made me a happier girl!

Reecey must be completely Beyond excited to be able to see his Texans pull out a win over that EVIL Manning! (holla to the Texans.... nobody expected this)I didn't see the game but wow! :D

Even though I'm not a Lions fan.... I can't help but feel they were ROBBED and the win should be in their column. had he fallen out of bounds (instead of in) there is no doubt in my mind they would have called this a TD.... looked like he had the ball rather firmly and only lost it due to impact with the ground. I'm certainly no expert .....

Tonight's all around slumfest (sorry to my #1 man) should prove interesting. Kind of wishing both teams could lose. Just hoping for a good showing by a couple of guys Shadow still has to go on his fantasy team. My baby will surely need that $ at the end of the season :D

Just a side note...

Bought my little guy his first Superbowl shirt to wear on Superbowl Sunday!

Of course a more appropriate team jersey will be in order if any of our teams make it to the Superbowl.... but just in case :D
(not to mention he may get excited and drool on himself and need a change anyway)

Congrats on your "W" Maine, was like beating the red headed stepchild. Did the Bungles have a couple of wide receivers out there that were supposed to be Batman & Robin? Someone didn't get the message.....

GOOD MORNING SWITZERLAND AND ALL THE SWISSIES!

Congratulations to all with wins yesterday--and condolences for those who have to wait another week to see the "W" Column.

I have a couple of things to do, but will be back shortly, ready to blog. So much to discuss about yesterday's games and I guess they have another double header tonight. I prefer the old days when it was just one game on MNF! BRB :D

This female reporter claims was sexually harassed by the Jets players on the field. Seriously? She's a professional reporter and she DRESSED LIKE THAT for work?!! Give me a break. That's the sort of outfit you wear when you go out trolling on a Saturday night EXPECTING to be hit on/get cat calls. She's STUPID.

The Association for Women in Sports Media said in a statement that it expects to receive a report on what transpired on Tuesday.

"If Jets players, coaches and staff allegedly involved in the incident are found to have acted in unprofessional and harassing behavior toward Ms. Sainz, we expect and demand reprimand and punishment by the NFL and Jets," VP/Online of AWSM Nicole Vargas wrote in the statemen

I'm sorry, but painted on skinny jeans don't qualify as a "don't look at me I'm trying to do my job here" kind of attire. (especially with THAT ass) Case dismissed, next.....
