TC Texan wrote:I won't watch this season. Steven Tyler is 60 yr old man who acts like he's 20. He was on Kidd Kraddick and was flirting with one of the women on the show who is in her early 20's and it was just creepy. I am not a fan of J-Lo at all either and let's face it, Randy Jackson is worthless as a judge. It was nice while it lasted.

((((Nods head--fervently agreeing with TC))))) He has creeped me out for many years, TC. He has also been behaving like he is still the Steven Tyler of the days forgotten for way past the time he should. It must be tough to grow old and not be able to get a handle on the fact that you have. It's much easier for guys to get away with it--the groupie factor, you know. My brother's daughter is a prime example--she's been hot for him since she was in her early teens. It makes me gag to think that he would take advantage of a girl that young, but I know he would, without thinking twice.

What does the fact that I don't even know who you're talking about indicate? I've never watched the show or any other sort of talent competition. I have a television so I can watch football games. Usually when I turn it on I go to Classical Masterpieces on Music on Demand. I bought a Bose system for my home entertainment system to get better sound. I have difficulty sitting still long enough to watch television. I haven't been to a movie since my wife died for the same reason - I'm just a high-energy person. I can listen to music while I move around and do things. I don't like being a captive on the sofa.

Well, Em--I used to be the same way; however, life finds me at an impasse these days. I am bedridden much more of the time than I wish to be, and I do a lot of reading usually. Unfortunately, my concentration of late is limited, and my attention span is downright lousy. Television has been a great diversion. I can change the station whenever I get the slightest bit bored, which is often because much of the time I am watching complete drivel :? . What can I say, except that I have a much better knowledge of what television has to offer (which is pretty much garbage). The show to which TC and I are referring, started out a few years back as a really cute talent review, with pretty funny (and sometimes bright) judges. It, like everything else that succeeds in television, has deteriorated markedly and each year the judges get a little more seedy. Steven Tyler was/is with the band Aerosmith. One of his problems is that he still behaves as he did when he was a 20 year old rocker, and that includes going after women that he ought not...

My god, that makes him as old as me! I stay clear of young women. I wouldn't even know how to strike up a conversation with one. I like women who have lived through the same era that I have, so that we can relate.

I'll check in after I get in from dinner, if I'm not too full to move. I know a Tex-Mex place where you almost have to speak Western Spanish to order. The kitchen is full of Mexicans and most of the customers are, too. No chain restaurant food there!

I had dinner with my dog tonight. Rib Eye steak, peas and plantains. We had a grand time. Princess loves the fat and gristle and I love the steak. What a team!

No problem, tenn! It's great looking, and I know kicks and stc will love it as well. We're all glad that they are back. It seems that old gang of ours is slowly returning, as is the laughter in Switzerland. WHOOO HOOOO!!! :D

It must have been during one of our themed weeks, tenn. Lotsa doggies. If it weren't during season, we could do that again, but it's down to business time here in our happy little home.

The theme weeks were how we got through the first off season and I think that the dog theme week was the most popular. Who doesn't like dogs?

Wow! Thanks Tenn10. Good to be back. I was absent from Swiss for quite some time. Feels good to be back. Really enjoyed yucking it up with Reecey late yesterday. Those avs were from about 2 1/2 years ago when I left Sedona for Casa Grande to start work at the prison. I didn't have internet for about 2 weeks and everyone put on a dog av to welcome me back. Thank you sooo much for posting that. I figured it was lost forever at the old Swiss site.

If Tenn10 comes on later can someone direct him to the lounge so that he can see my post? :D

Oh.. and good morning to all. HAPPY FRIDAY. Super Serial is here. Hide the beer. lol Welcome SS.

That was late March early April 2008 for the dog avs. I remember it was really touching for everyone to do that. The beagle in the car was one that Linda used I remember because she borrowed it from a gif that I posted a few months before that.

LOL, they call them that because they're the size of a cat's head. If you keep kosher you couldn't have it anyway, because the sawmill gravy is made with pork pan sausage. It sure tastes great, though.
