How about them?

Honestly. I know you and CK are Brett Favre fans, and I mean no disrespect to your "admiration" for the Old Man.

I don't hate the guy...I just think he's become a huge joke and lost the respect he once earned by so many in the NFL. All because of ego.

Yeah I think many have lost some respect for the guy because of the off-field incidents as of late, as I too have. I don't condone the type of behavior that he has admitted to or accused of. I personally was referring to his on-field performance and desire. Now that he has two stress fractures in his leg, it may all be a moot point as to him continuing. I'm sure though that everyone saw him return to the field limping and almost win the game late, yet again as he's done so many times in his career. That's the Favre that I was talking about.....

Ok "hate" is such a harsh word. I don't hate anyone or anything (except Brussell Sprouts). I respect Favre for his passion, overall durability and his talents but that has since faded away due to his primadona attitude and all the off the field bullshit recently.

I just want him vanish from the media's focus.................................

AMEN.

And I don't like brussel sprouts either. That's on my list of questions to ask God "What were you thinking?" when I get to heaven.

You and Favre want the same thing right about now. I don't think he considers this his brightest moment either...

Hi CK, I'm sure if he knew what he knows now we wouldn't be seeing him...then again maybe not. Enjoy the Colts game with Bags. Safe travels to you my friend.

Thanks for the good wishes, 16. I am not a good traveler, and in fact, started with the panic attacks in the wee hours this a.m. Not that it makes a difference, but the only airline (American--you know, the one that is cutting costs by cutting back on fuel for each trip) that goes non-stop, has one flight a day and it's a puddle-jumper jet. It has only one row of seats on one side of the plane and two on the other. You just feel turbulence a bit more than in the heavier jets, but at least you aren't surrounded by 20 million people, all with screaming babies and the flu  .If I could have avoided flying and driven, I would be much happier...

I miss the days when there was passenger train service everywhere. You could get up and move around and go to the dining car for a meal or the club car for a drink. Hotels sent limos to the train stations. All of that vanished when I was just a boy, but it was grand.

LOL, I'm old, but not that old. Looking back, there were a lot of things then that I liked better than now. Somehow the technology that we have gained doesn't always make up for what we lost. For example, when I was a little kid it was safe to go out unsupervised to trick-or-treat, because nobody would hurt a child.

CNN & ESPN are reporting that the Chilean miners are en-route to Dallas. They are going to show the Cowboys how to dig themselves out of a hole.

When I was just a kid my dad told me, "If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is quit digging." We mostly get ourselves there.

What made it bad is that Brett is such a shameless attention hog that it is believable.

I'm worried about our Monday night game with the Colts. The Texans have never swept anybody.

As I've said before, I'll be delighted if the Texans split with everybody in the division. Last year we were 1-5 in the division and 8-2 outside it.
