We're leaving together, but still it's farewell.
And maybe we'll come back to Earth, who can tell?
I guess there is no one to blame,
we're leaving ground.
Will things ever be the same again?
It's the Final Countdown!
The Final Countdown!
Oh, we're heading for Venus, and still we stand tall.
'Cause maybe they've seen us, and welcome us all, yeah.
With so many lightyears to go,
and things to be found,
I'm sure that we'll all miss her so.
It's the Final Countdown!
The Final Countdown!
The Final Countdown!
Oh oh, oh oh oh oh.
The Final Countdown!
Oh oh!
It's the Final Countdown!
The Final Countdown!
The Final Countdown!
Woah, it's the Final Countdown!

The 80's were the best. Graduated high school in '86. Some days it feels like yesterday and other days it feels like a lifetime ago.

Saw Mayock's draft last night...Hoppy could be right about Erving to the Chiefs. I'm good with Fisher as Denver's pick in that scenario.

Here's my prediction for tonight. All hell is going to break loose. I think the Eagles, Browns, Falcons, and Dolphins are going to be making moves tonight. I think Bradford could be the Browns' starting QB before the night is over. I think Atlanta trades up with Washington for Leonard Williams and the Dolphins trade up with the Rams ahead of Minnesota for Parker.

There's a lot of ways Denver can go tonight...it really will depend on how the draft falls to determine who the best player is going to be at #28. In the end, I really think Denver goes OL (Erving or one of the OTs), but could easily see an ILB like Anthony or McKinney or an OLB/DE like Armstead, Odighizuwa, or Harold if they're high on Denver's board as they won't make it to the Broncos' second round pick.

Everyone planning on being in here tonight? I likely will be on for the start of the draft and then again around the time Denver picks.

I'm hoping most are here. The Swiss page has been suggested as a main gathering place so people don't have to run from room to room. I think that's a good idea.

I'm wondering if multiple guys fall that the opportunity to fall back at a premium might also arise.

Here are a few drive by rumors from RotoWorld:

Leonard Williams goes to the Jags - Bob McGinn - Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel

Titans select Amari Cooper if they pass on a QB - Tennesseean

Jaguars will not draft Dante Fowler - AP (Mark Long)

La'El Collins won't be drafted...at all - Adam Schefter reporting that multiple teams see Collins' involvement with that murder in Baton Rouge as a show stopper.

The Chiefs could draft Marcus Peters at #18 overall - Peter King. On a personal note...please let this happen...

The only issue I personally see with that Yi is that Denver has too many picks/players now. Unless Denver was interested in future drafts, they won't be able to use/keep all 10 of their picks this year. I actually believe Elway is planning to jockey for position in rounds two and three with the picks Denver has.

Ok, so we bundle 5 picks for the #2 pick. We draft Mariota as a successor to Manning. Either that or trade Mariota for Rivers and half of us commit suicide.

Damn you kicks! Even reading that makes me ill...not suicidal, but certainly in need of intense medication!

Can't we do it for Leonard Williams instead?

You know I'm a Michigan fan, right Yi? Having Jones and Roby in Orange and Blue does offset that gawd-awful college uniform they wore though. Denver could adopt a new team philosophy though:

"Through counseling and ethics training, the Denver Broncos are saving OSU grads one player at a time. Please consider helping us by purchasing single game tickets or Denver Broncos' merchandise to stop the spread of this horrible mental condition. Together, we can make a difference."

I actually would be ecstatic if, through some miracle, Elway was able to land Williams. Best player in the draft...better than Suh was coming out in my opinion.

He is the best overall player in the draft. Better than Suh? Hmm... Time will tell. Hopefully not the trouble maker that Suh is.

The attitude Williams has and the way he plays the game is why I rate him ahead of Suh. He isn't the punk Suh was, nor will he be. All the benefit without the 15 yard penalties multiple times during the game.

There's a rumor that the Browns like our back up Matt McGloin if all else fails,,,their OC was Our QB coach last year. One thing for sure he'll outwork

First I apologize for that. I'll remember that going forward.

As far as the new philosophy, love it. Like how you pointed out that merchandise and tattoo's would have to be paid for, no bartering or freebies.

If It were me and I had the #2 pick I"D take Mariota and sit on him if no one meets my price before the pick. Then see If I can get something for him. I don't want a QB who has to practice The Huddle

Broncos are said to be looking at Petty ? I hope not at least not in the first. This article plays it off like the saints will take him at 31. I have them replacing a TB at 31 with Maxx Williams

That's no joke Hoppy...if Denver took Petty in the 1st, I think I'd be fairly upset. If he's the best passer in the draft, that's fine I suppose, but...and I know I'm a minority in here...I really like the potential both Osweiler and Dysert have in Kubiak's system. I don't see QB as a need on this team.

- Unfortunately South,

I disagree. The wizard has not been impressive in his few actual starts. I think during the Pre-Season you rest Sheriff. He does nothing but give advise on how to read defenses. OR, maybe to keep the rust to a minimum. He plays the first few snaps and let wizard and dysert go at it.

Get that new fangled receiver out there and run some routes, especially if DT is not in camp by then. In this area, I do agree with Elway, there is absolutely no benefit to DT not being in camp. He has demonstrated in the past he was a "team" player. Last I checked the word "ME", I, MYSELF were not part of the word TEAM, Together Everyone Accomplishes More, or any other acronym you can slap on

I hope this DT nonsense is just that. Nonsense. Its hopefully just postering for a better contract. Its fairly typical but the media vultures are trying to make more out of it. He has always seemed like a team player in the past.
