And maybe we'll come back to Earth, who can tell?
I guess there is no one to blame,
we're leaving ground.
Will things ever be the same again?

Oh, we're heading for Venus, and still we stand tall.
'Cause maybe they've seen us, and welcome us all, yeah.
With so many lightyears to go,
and things to be found,
I'm sure that we'll all miss her so.

Here's my prediction for tonight. All hell is going to break loose. I think the Eagles, Browns, Falcons, and Dolphins are going to be making moves tonight. I think Bradford could be the Browns' starting QB before the night is over. I think Atlanta trades up with Washington for Leonard Williams and the Dolphins trade up with the Rams ahead of Minnesota for Parker.
There's a lot of ways Denver can go tonight...it really will depend on how the draft falls to determine who the best player is going to be at #28. In the end, I really think Denver goes OL (Erving or one of the OTs), but could easily see an ILB like Anthony or McKinney or an OLB/DE like Armstead, Odighizuwa, or Harold if they're high on Denver's board as they won't make it to the Broncos' second round pick.
Everyone planning on being in here tonight? I likely will be on for the start of the draft and then again around the time Denver picks.

The only issue I personally see with that Yi is that Denver has too many picks/players now. Unless Denver was interested in future drafts, they won't be able to use/keep all 10 of their picks this year. I actually believe Elway is planning to jockey for position in rounds two and three with the picks Denver has.

Damn you kicks! Even reading that makes me ill...not suicidal, but certainly in need of intense medication!
Can't we do it for Leonard Williams instead?

I actually would be ecstatic if, through some miracle, Elway was able to land Williams. Best player in the draft...better than Suh was coming out in my opinion.
kicks wrote:He is the best overall player in the draft. Better than Suh? Hmm... Time will tell. Hopefully not the trouble maker that Suh is.

The attitude Williams has and the way he plays the game is why I rate him ahead of Suh. He isn't the punk Suh was, nor will he be. All the benefit without the 15 yard penalties multiple times during the game.

SouthStands wrote:You know I'm a Michigan fan, right Yi? Having Jones and Roby in Orange and Blue does offset that gawd-awful college uniform they wore though. Denver could adopt a new team philosophy though:
"Through counseling and ethics training, the Denver Broncos are saving OSU grads one player at a time. Please consider helping us by purchasing single game tickets or Denver Broncos' merchandise to stop the spread of this horrible mental condition. Together, we can make a difference."
YiRox wrote:As far as the new philosophy, love it. Like how you pointed out that merchandise and tattoo's would have to be paid for, no bartering or freebies.

That's no joke Hoppy...if Denver took Petty in the 1st, I think I'd be fairly upset. If he's the best passer in the draft, that's fine I suppose, but...and I know I'm a minority in here...I really like the potential both Osweiler and Dysert have in Kubiak's system. I don't see QB as a need on this team.
