Good stuff Ute. I personally am a Bruton man. Not sure how he graded out PFF wise with his playing time at safety, but he sure did pass the eye test in my book. The kid is pure hustle and packs a punch. I am happy with Stewarts attitude and confidence, that just seems to make our depth situation that much better. I'm also happy Garland is Gibbs taught and that can only benefit the team, however I don't see him cracking the starting line up. I love Ben and what he is to the team and the community, just can't see him as any more than a backup. These are my thoughts and are subject to scrutiny, but I stand by them !
Hoping all have a great and safe Holiday weekend. Raining here so I will be staying in town and looking for every opportunity to fire up the grill

On the Smith issue. I think the Raiders knew what was up and showed him the door. Moral issues are affecting the teams now with fines/suspensions and everyone is avoiding bad eggs like the plague.

On this memorial day, we should remember those who paid the ultimate price for freedom.
I have met Medal of Honor recipients, not one thought of themselves as a hero.
Their whole mindset was about saving their friends. Not the hero picture painted by Hollywood.
I went to school in Coronado California with Navy Seals. Again the picture portrayed by some would indicate a bunch of blood thirsty glory hounds
nothing could be further from the truth. YOU MIGHT recognize one IF he was wearing his uniform. Most carry themselves with humility and dignity. Something our elected officials appear to be sorely lacking.

I am a veteran. I served during Desert Storm / Shield. I went to Saudi Arabia. (ridiculously hot).
This week take some time and go visit your local VA hospital or veterans care facility. Go see some REAL HEROES!

then go say a prayer for those who never came home. And another for those still serving!

I bought a Gibson electric guitar last night at the bar from one of the "Clifftones" band members. They're a local band here in Lava. It's a 1974 version. Same year I graduated from High School. Got a decent deal and I've always wanted an electric guitar. Plus, with a decent amp, I can drown out the neighbor kid when he plays his drums at 90 decibels every evening. lol.

Utah, good stuff. I never played an instrument (born without the necessary hand eye coordination) but I love buying stuff with a good back story behind it. Good luck on your noise war with the drummer boy. I recently had one with a neighbor and now we are drinking buddies.

My eye/hand coordination isn't the best either but with practice it should improve. I just want to get good enough I can come down on jamb night and participate without embarrassing myself too much...lol.

Not many surprises there. I do like them thinking Schmidz replaces Colquit at punter. Plus he can kick off. I'm not sure "Barf" is completely safe at FG kicker either...lol.
