I agree about the dad part. But I disagree only slightly with the use of the word Hero. A Hero is a person who has usually done something outrageous or incredible with limited resources. Sounds like Dad to me. However, I am more inclined to believe there are other Heroes
at your local senior center or veterans home. Those are real Heroes. I am a fan of football. None of these men should be venerated as heroes, impressive yes, selfless, yes, giving, yes especially those who are active in their local community.
A hero is a person who has made a difference in Peoples lives. Many professional athletes do not qualify by that definition.
My Hero is Jesus Christ. He made a difference in my life. He taught me to Honor Fathers and Mothers.
