I've been ringing my hands all season.
I bought some beer in Grand Junction before I left called "Loser" beer. It's a pale ale from a company called Elysian.... Good beer. I'm having one as we type. They also make one I brought back a case of of they make..... for my wife as she likes it...called "Space Dust". It's an IPA and the label looks like something Timothy Leary would have drawn....lol.

San Diego is giving the Packers all they can handle. I think GB will win but SD is no slouch. Their defense and offensive line is tough. Rivers is Rivers though so he can have the greatest performance and they still lose....lol.

Rivers just set a SD record...most attempts, most completions, and most yards....and has 500 passing yards for the game.....down 27-20 and 4th down......lol. This could get interesting.

Sounds like an AC joint sprain for Sanders...might not miss much time, if any after the bye! I was feeling a bit pessimistic about him. Hope Ray has similar good news on the way

In 1935 Ruth hit a hr in the first game of the year for the Boston Braves. He was traded to the braves because he made so much noise about becoming the manager of the NYY. he wanted to manage the Yankees but they had a great manager. Ruth was told he would get 25,000 and part of the profits and take over as the manager the following season. after that HR he didn't hit another one for 20 at bats. Then he went on a slump and he knew he didn't have it anymore. He asked the Braves to let him retire but they needed him to go on one last tour with them . I guess to get the crowds to come to the park. so he stayed and had no hits in 44 at bats. then on May 25th a bit of the old babe came back and he went 4 for 4 with 3 hr's Those were the last HR's he ever hit. Two weeks later The paper in Boston wrote "If the Babe saw the hand writing on the wall as he indicated that he did, it is too bad that he didn't announce his retirement the day after he hit 3 HR's in Pittsburgh, so he could have gone out in a blaze of glory instead of waiting to make his departure along the trail of unpleasantness.
now If they talk about the great Babe like this and with all his greatness he said he knew he couldn't play anymore. Manning knows he isn't the same player and the papers will talk about him more because there is more of them to talk. I always liked Willie Mays. He didn't do himself well either he played too long . Manning is a great person but his time is up. I hope he has enough pride left to tell the coach I'm holding the team back. If he looks at the tape he will see some of his receivers throwing up their arms when he missed them being open. or the ball that sailed out of his hand and he blamed Latimer. Yes the time has come Mr. Manning to think about coaching. You can still help a team win.

that was the worst play I've ever seen run in the pros...Pagano should run laps for even calling that in a close game

Not good. Luckily we're pretty deep on defense.

A win is a win but those wins wont be there in the second half of the season against teams like GB, NE, SDx2 and Cinn. Good thing we won the games we should have so far, we're going to need that lead in the AFC West in order to make the playoffs. I don't see a McD style collapse for the rest of the season like our previous 6-0 start but it's going to be rough if something isn't fixed.

He did ask why did you snap that? I'm like you why did you call it?

They were trying to confuse the Pats and get them with 12 men on the field. They intended to take the delay of game if that failed. Looks like the play confused themselves more than the pats though

which isn't hard to believe since the pats are always running weird formations to trick the opposing defense. Not going to beat them at their own shady game
