I don't see it happening. Denver is just trying to make San Fran think they will move on from Kap. Elway is playing the part of the disinterested girl in an effort to get all the attention from the guy she has her eye on.

I hope we get it settled soon so whoever is the QB can start playing catch with some of the talent on this team. I will be happy with whoever they have because the team here has so much talent they will make the QB better IMO

Agreed, RGIII is just last on my list. Unfortunately there isn't a ton of talent at QB this year as far as FAs go. I don't follow college much by there doesn't seem to be a lot of hype for any one player in the draft at any position like there normally is.

The draft is heavy with Defensive ends this year. Notable QB's and WR there aren't any the spotlight goes on them most of the time . Then you have your Heisman Trophy winner Henry who is a RB. Now the last Heisman winner to make a splash took him 5 years and that would be Cam. He won it in 2010. RG3 2011 Johnny football 2012 are really without teams so the play on the Heisman is low. There will be a run on DE's and DT's in the first round this year The QB's are not the great one's that they can even try to hype them up. I do like that Cook kid only because he makes fast decisions.I didn't say good one but with training he could be a keeper.

I enjoyed your story Hop. Having two daughters that were little once, and enjoyed when I made up or read stories for them, I was able to read it threw their eyes. I think this story would catch the imagination of a child.
Especially when you narrated from the animals view point. I would suggest you try adding to that some more. I know it's best to keep it short, but I will offer this suggestion. Maybe expand it to Licie's day at the fair. Where she is able to put the lesson she learned at the barn from Mary and Cousin Jim into practice, and finally get the farmer his coveted first prize. Maybe by out shining other stuck up contestants with her new found inner beauty. That would be a great way to drive home the moral, not that you didn't already. Just saying, that when you mentioned the contest, I saw that as the natural climax to your story.
Hope this is the kind of feed back you were looking for. :D

There is too much talk about RG3 today. Makes you wonder why. We have a week and 3 days before the 9'ers have to cut or pay Kap. Hope we can wait

** SanFran isn't really considering keeping him, even though their spin doctors say so. Think about it, he regressed so far that they had to put Blaine (plane jane) Gabbert in who was a serious washout in Jax, now granted Kap had an injury I think but Plain Jane? Really, Tebow wasn't available? at least Tim Terrible isn't a "game manager" yuk, I hate that term, why dont we use custodian?
Janitor?
Refuse Collection Engineer, with emphasis on recycling?

** I read it also, just a couple things, brushing her mane, and princess,
I liked the story line, I think you could have seriously fleshed out the negative personality of your main character as well as the blind man. I think you could have saved his blindness until almost the end, so the reader is wondering why he pays so much attention to all the other animals.

I doubt we sign RGIII myself. I think Denver will wait the Kap saga out and act interested in the QB's that are also out there until the Niners either release him or agree to terms of a trade. I'm not sure Elway isn't going to be content running with Sanchez next year and drafting another project QB. I seriously doubt Denver will over reach and pay too much for anybody that is still out there or might be.

And if one of the top 4 QB's fall far enough I could see Denver trading up. Lynch and Wentz probably would be who they'd go up for if they did or hold tight and take at 31. Goff doesn't look that good to me and I think Cook might drop lower myself even though he might be the best of the bunch in the long run..

** I would agree I think that we would do the due diligence thing and take a glance @ Mr. Griffin. But I seriously doubt we sign him because of the locker room drama baggage he brings with him ( No thanks)

That's the part that I don't like drama our team play for each other We don't need that drama to break us apart in the year that we need each other. The captains on offense and special teams have gone no drama please

Still can't believe he didn't call fair catch on that. Don't get me wrong, in the end, I'm glad he didn't, but that had fumble and recovery by Car written all over it. Even the Car players thought he called the fair catch, that's why they all jumped back off him at the beginning.

**RG3 to the Browns, no worries about him bringing drama to Denver now.
- So SF, how much longer are you going to say, we'd like to Keep Kap?
- Hello Paxton (perfect fit) Lynch

Same here, rather have Sanchez or somebody else that could realistically compete to be the starter.
