I wouldn't say broke, but it did add up quick. The article shows enough money for Romo*, and 2 o-lineman with about 5 mil left. This is about what I expected. Plus, we may not even have Romo which is fine too. That would leave good money for a d-lineman. I think we are in an ok position with money and draft picks and I suspect we wont end up picking 10 as John will likely trade some to move up either in the 2nd or 3rd rounds. Just having a better line and scheme with the new offense should help our young passers.

Mike freeman says Kaepernicks protest still has NFL teams worried. So much so they asked the question of the players at the Combine

I read where the raiders won't resign McGloin. Could be he gets a chance to play here only B/C of our new OC knows him. Don't take this as I want him just a thought

OT Ricky Wagner expected to sign with Detroit Lions Thursday this contract is reported as being over 9 million a year. That will be the mark for this years free agent LT Looks like Okung will be our best bet if he will agree to a contract lower then that. The Vikings are talking to him

No team wants a player that could divide their fan base and hurt ticket sales.

I'd rather have Okung than some of them out there at this point.

Broncos are talking to Menelik Watson RT of the Raiders.
Romo to be released Tomorrow
9'ers release center Marcus Martin who doesn't fit the blocking scheme of the west Coast that Shanahan will run. He was just the first. there will be more who can't block in this system . I look for Buffalo to cut a few linemen also.
The Bills are restructuring Taylor's contract and at the same time they are in talks with Hoyer. That leaves the 9"ers who like Siemian Not sure why the Bills just don't trade for the best QB they will ever get this season. We all know how great Trevor is.

My problem with him is that he didn't vote. I just can't understand why someone would standup for what he feels is right and wants to change something in this country then you turn around and refuse to help change the anything by voting in the people who make the laws. And while you do so you invite others not to vote. That's why I have a problem with him I call it standing on the fence.

Look at it this way, that may mean we won't go after Romo and that will leave more money to sign a player that will probably have a higher impact on the season anyways.

Lol, gonna be hard for Peterson to find a home. A contender won't pay what's he asking, especially the Pats. Peterson may be forced into retirement by his own hand if he doesn't lower his price.

Schaub resigns with the falcons yeah big deal right. Only he signed for 9 mill.

Prim Time is an A$$ what is it that he hates our team. Now he's telling Romo not to sign with Denver their line will get you out of the game.

hoyer signs with 9'ers and right away Shanahan says he sees him as a backup. He wants to trade for Cousins If not this year get him next. I wonder how that makes Hoyer feel

My problem with him is he didn't vote and he has sat during the anthem before this year and nobody ever made a big deal about it. My personal opinion doesn't matter but no team wants a player that might cause fans not to buy tickets. To the teams the ticket sales and jersey sales make all the revenue. No team owner wants a player that divides the team base.

Bennett is a beast, I say yes also but I bet he chases the money and Elway is unlikely to play that game.

I wonder what he would cost? I know he has dropped off in recent years. Might be worth it to kick the tires. Could be a replacement for Ware. Not a vital need though with Shane Ray in the mix so I doubt he would be offered much.

I think I heard Bennett wants some serious cash. But if he came on the cheap (doubtful after a SB win) then you're right...he is a beast...

Nope, that's one thing we haven't had to worry about since he came aboard. Contracts have mostly favored the team.
