We couldn't offer any more if we were going to go after Romo. Starting to feel like we should just get the needs and if Romo falls our way fine but like last year we snooze you lose. We need a Tackle unless we count on the draft.
Kalil
Whitworth
and Okung are already gone.
The free agent tackle market is already sparse.

I read that they were going to put a package together that would send Siemian out with a pick in a trade for a Tackle. Just a rumor

That would be a good move if they sign Romo.

Unless Jerry Jones doesn't want Romo in the state of Texas, I think Houston has the inside track to land Romo in a trade. Plus the NFC East plays the AFC West this year and Jones doesn't want to take a chance on a team Romo lands at beating the Cowboys with their new QB.

Which is funny because earlier in the offseason it was said that Romo wanted to go to a team that would play the Cowboys this year. Maybe he has softened his stance a little to save his relationship with Jones. I have a feeling that Jones will have a big say in where Romo goes even if he's released. Gonna be more than a hand shake deal.

if we go on what was told Jones said he would release Romo when FA starts if he honored the deal. Jones not releasing him reneged on his word . Why would Tony keep his?

I have a feeling that Tony is the better person in all of this. Not saying he should keep his word now, but he still may. We will see. If Jones sours the relationship over this period Tony may not feel he has a friend in him anymore and won't care as much what Jones thinks. I guess we will see. I think Jones saw a possible opportunity to get something out of Romo at the last minute and now that is failing because neither of the most interested teams want anything to do with a trade for Romo.

I just realized that unless NE and/or Brady tank this season, Brady will likely, and easily, pass Favre and Manning on the career win list. Brady is only 3 short of tying the mark and has 2 fewer losses than Manning, 60 less than Favre.

the rams release Tre Mason RB Cousin signs his tender now the Skins can trade him. Not to the Broncos I hope he chokes in big games. There is a Peppers that I would like to see on this team but we have to move up in the draft to get him Jabrill Peppers.

If healthy he's a beast I like it. for the money

I saw where Watson will play RT or at least that's where he played with the raiders. so we have a new LG and a new RT who may be turned into a LT with the Broncos getting stuck with what we had last season on the right side of the line at tackle. I guess it's going to be draft a tackle in the first

Yeah the money wasn't too bad. I was figuring an average of $10 mil per FA.

Big al Williams is always saying something too extreme to be reported on his show FM 104.3 The fan. This time he said John Elway is trying to trade Brandon Marshall. B Marsh is out best MLB right now. Why trade him when you're trying to get better at your run defense. Not sure Al has it all. On too many hit in the head maybe. Here is the story

here's the trade Marshall, Lynch and the 20th pick for a restructured contract of Drew Brees. Still wouldn't do it but It does sound good. Let's do it!!!!

LOL....The Browns might have to pay to get rid of OZ now...8-12 million....draft choices must have a really high dollar value.
I think they did well they have 5 picks in the first 3 rounds this year and 5 in the first 3 next because of the trade. and from the start the were going to cut him. Houston will eat half of the dead money when they do. They have 107.46 in cap money no way the spend that much so why not take the hit and gain a draft choice.
My mistake they will eat the money themselves not split with Houston. But they have the money. They are asking for a second round pick for him when they come down they will trade him or just cut him
