Clady is still out there. May be an option for half of the year before getting injured again.....if his asking price is decent.

There isn't a starting QB yet this year. It's hard to take charge when you don't know if you'll be in charge. This is an open QB battle until the season.

Manning was in charge in Indy and already had won a SB by the time he got to Denver. He took charge just like any top QB would do. But he wasn't in his 2nd or 3rd year like these two. Before you throw both of them under the bus let's see what they can do with some more playing time. Lynch is only in his 2nd year and Seimian isn't much more experienced. I'd like a top veteran QB as well as you but what's out there right now isn't what we need. We wasted 5 million on Sanchez last year and he never played. The two top QB's out there now are Cutler and Kap and both are severely flawed. Neither one is even a short term answer.

two words Dak Prescott. He was a rookie and stepped in and became their leader. They even put a C on his chest for this season. Leaders are people who are born to do so. Not the people who sit back and say I think I can be a leader or it takes playing time. By the 6th game last season people were asking if they were going to give the job back to Romo. And Romo said it's Dak's team by week 9 or so. Just think Elway was going to draft him if he didn't draft Lynch. Stick with your first thought this year big John.

You and I are saying the same thing Utah. Only I don't want to stand with the QB's we have who aren't the leaders that we need to take this team back to the dance. We could stand with them and be the bottom of the pack in the AFC West or move on. There have been QB's that have come in and become leaders and those are the ones that we call elite. It takes time for us to call them elite but they become leaders from day one. The teams with these leaders are also in the hunt every year for the Championship. They say the Broncos are going to finish third in the AFC West this season and that's because we have no leadership on Offense. With a great defense we should be considered The one to win this division. KC has good defense but not as good as ours they do have a better offense. Their QB is light out better and we all know how we feel about Alex Smith. He is a better leader than what we have. The Carr is the best QB in our division right now but their defense is weak. They will have a first place schedule this season so I think that they will be in second place at the end unless we find out that Lynch is better than he showed last season or we find a QB in the draft or by trade. But lets be honest If the coaches or John Elway thought that Siemian was good last season would there be a competition for who would start?

Denver has the most difficult schedule in the NFL this year.

And of course the "suck for Luck" Colts have the easiest with the Pats not far behind them.....

Kind of hard to be a leader in an open QB competition, Hop. Who's going to follow you? Once Lynch earns the job he'll step up.

And I thought not having a first place schedule for once, would be a treat. :? Truth is though, we had a tough division. Take out everybody's division games, and I bet we are in the middle of the pack. Nothing we can do about that, gotta play your division twice, good or bad. :|

I love Chris Harris Jr., he is my favorite Rod Smith type guy. I just hope he's wrong about Easy Ed's boy. I don't see his triple threat being first round caliber in the Pros. He will make a splash and get some high-light worthy plays ( from heart alone ), but I don't think he will end up being a stud at this level. :?:

Home and away will be crucial. I hope we get the Cowboys and Skins in Denver. I predict a Monday Night Game in NY with Peyton in the MNF Booth wearing an orange tie and critiquing his little bro against his old team mates. We will find out Thursday.

I hope Dak Prescott is a one year wonder and Dallas continues to suck...lol. I'm not a Cowboy, Patriots or a Raider fan. But you're right....I hope we get them in Denver.

Prescott will be fine they have a great running game that protects him and with the year he had last season he has confidence in himself and his team mates. They have confidence in him. But their running game is the best in the league teams have to stop it first.

He never said a name. Remember Mixon is a triple threat. He can run the ball catch the ball out of the backfield and also returns kicks. I would take him over McCaffery he's bigger faster and much stronger. I agree with you about Ed's boy He may have more concussions then Highlights. Just too small and weak to be THE MAN

Good news here, Roby is an important part of the team now and in the future. I see him replacing Talib the year after next.

I thought it might happen sooner. I just don't think he took his own life. He was a tough guy. Wanted to be the bad boy out here sure he was the bad boy in there too. Just my opinion but I still think he was hanged.

Maybe he was hanged, hard to tell with the information so far. If it's true that the door was barricaded from the inside it would be hard to say somebody else did it since he had the cell to himself.
