Jake Long announces retirement so another team is looking for a OT in this draft. Not sure Long would have started but he would have made a team somewhere with a one year deal. Happy retirement Jake. enjoy your family.

TJ watt all the way Utah That's the man for us.

Adrian Peterson could be signing soon with New Orleans and I couldn't be happier. One less team looking for a running back one more young back to choose from a very good class of running backs.

Maybe Elway is offering them a third rounder and Sambrailo for Thomas or some other stud LT. Hell, offer up a 6th or 7th rounder to sweeten the pot....lol

just a thought if he got sent home from combine for an argument with a doctor would you have a red flag with a diluted drug test? just food for thought and a case for the defense.

AP signs with the saints. That helps the broncos chances with drafting a RB in any round. The Saints just cleaned their board of Backs until the 4th round I bet

Good to see you Rich hope all is well. I have to agree with you so far but the game isn't over until they put the team together. I don't like our QB's and they make me feel like you do. But That's My team still

Who will be the guy in the "Green Room" at this years draft, that the cameras will be focusing on, as he slips later and later into the draft? I have a feeling it will be John Ross WR. Speculation about his combine calf pull have him falling to as low as 32 in recent mocks. Another is Dalvin Cook (I know, it's my guy), if either is still there at 20, I can't see Elway passing up on them. I think he wants to get an electric player to add to McCoys offense, and both of these guys definitely fit the bill. If we are going to get C mac, we will have to trade up, and speculations now have Carolina taking him at #8. That would be too far to move, me thinks. I know I sound like a broken record, when it comes to Cook, but i'm sticking to my guns. I did last year with Lynch, and got that one right, so I'm gonna do it again. I also see John making a trade to move up in the 2nd round or maybe even the late 1st to grab one of the stud CBs to fill the gap Webster left. Maybe Adoree Jackson from USC or The'Daveous White from LSU, should one of them fall that far. If neither Ross or Cook fall to us, look for John to pull the trigger on Mixon.

Most have Elway picking an offensive player when he has only picked one offensive player in his GM career. All his defensive players have done a great job for the team but Williams and the only offensive player is Lynch who can't get on the field . I think he goes Defense again

I hear you Hoppy, but we are stacked on D and could use a big play man to open up DT and Sanders more. Elway and McCoy want to get back to scoring 30 a game, not the 17 to 20 we have been squeaking by with. We all knew that Lynch was a project when we drafted him. There was no urgency to play him last year, but rather develop his talents. Everybody said Lynch was a year at least away from starting in last year's draft analysis. I don't think that it was a case of Lynch not being able to get on the field, rather than Kubes wanting to develop him more, and sticking with Siemian because he was more experienced in the scheme. I am willing to bet that McCoy will be designing his offense more around Paxton than Trevor. I really feel D is a lot deeper in this draft, and we can get better players later, than the not so deep offensive options in this years draft. We will find out in a couple of days, but I'm really leaning towards the most electric O player available at 20.

I think we'll draft Mixon in the second if he's there. Unless there's more dirt on him than we know.

The only way I see us going Defense in the first round, is if Rueben Foster falls to 20. I can even see us trading up a few slots to get him if he slips past 15.

I don't think Mixon will last more than 3 or 4 picks into the 2nd round. If Elway really wants him, I see him trading back to get more picks and then grabbing him early. That might be a scenario where we trade Cleveland for Thomas or SF for Staley. Of course we will probably lose this and next years's 2nd picks also to do that.

I don't think we'll draft Foster. He's damaged goods in my opinion and it seems to be getting worse by the week. I think we'll draft a LT, Watt, a TE or strictly by talent. As far as Mixon, I see us trading up in the top ten in the second to snag him. He has too much raw talent to ignore too long.

To get Thomas we'll have to cough up a lot. Unless Cleveland wants to unload him they'll want a fortune for him. One thing Cleveland likes to do is hoard draft picks under the newest regime. I think trading our second plus a 4th or comp 3rd rounder would get their 2nd round pick. Mixon won't be going anywhere before the top of the second with the wealth at running back this year. Plus backs aren't getting drafted that high these days except for Elliot last year. Especially with Cook, Fournette, McCaffrey, Kamara and Samuel in the mix Mixon could drop to the middle of the second round. Watch out for the Raiders though because they have a history of taking a flyer on troubled players and in the second they could try to move up.

A diluted drug test is just that Hop. It is it's own red flag and the combine doctors don't conduct the analysis.....a lab somewhere does that. And the doctors evaluating the players aren't involved in that process. And the results aren't supplied to them during the combine. They wouldn't clear him from his last injury and he pulled a prima donna and threw a fit and they tossed his ass. That behavior, in what in essence is a job interview with 32 possible employers, is not only stupid but a huge red flag that he'll turn out like the past list of busts with judgement and behavioral issues.

I'm not buying into this conspiracy theory...lol. I've been drug tested since the 80's and have a pretty good knowledge of how that part works. It had nothing to do with his combine meltdown unless he was stressed over being dirty....or diluted and that sent him over the edge. He's showing huge maturity issues and recent ones.

Joe Thomas stating the flaws in dilution in drug testing.....I don't disagree with him....the system is severely flawed.....for all of us...not just the NFL.

HOWEVER....in the biggest job interview in your life so far....you have to play by their rules until someone changes them.
