It’s All Over, Fat Man! had a good run. I’m sad to hit the gigantic pause button, but proud of the work that was put up by Doug, TJ, Ted, and Doc.

My job was to wear the tech overalls. There was a KISS (keep it simple, stupid) approach here, and I like to think we accomplished that. Don’t let anything cast a shadow over the thoughts of our writers. I’d chime in from time to time with something I found interesting or amusing — amusing, most likely — but mostly stuck to making my updates behind the scenes, once in a while with a public warning.

I’ll continue to be in that position. IAOFM will be kept alive and accessible. It’ll be on permanent hiatus, but there’s so much great stuff on here, that there wasn’t a real consideration of taking down the site.

I’m a big believer that sites like IAOFM thrive because of content + community, and for that I thank you, for both reading and replying.

Reading the other writers goodbyes, it sounds like they're all just moving on due to their current circumstances in life. Sad to see them hang it up, but I get it.

Sportsworld and Yard Barker have run stories on it. I don't consider either site very valuable, but just the thought of Rivers in Denver was enough to make me ill.

Cry me a Rivers has stated that he will not move to Los Angeles. He seems pretty solid on this. I think he goes to the Titans for Mariota. Now, Chip from the Eagles may have something up his sleeve. Should be interesting.

...anything that brings the Rivers to Denver in 2016 rumors to a grinding halt is good with me. I love the Broncos, but I don't think I could ever stomach Rivers in blue and orange. I would seriously have to stop watching until he was gone.

Ok...best guesses for players going in the top 10? Forget teams, you know there will be a trade or two...here's my best guess:

Winston, Mariota, Fowler, Williams, Cooper, Scherff, White, Beasley, Ray, Peat.

I don't feel solid about the list...Ray and Peat especially...though I do think OL and edge rushers will go early and often. Could easily be Gregory or Dupree at DE and Collins or Flowers at OL. We'll see!

I hate Rivers more than any other NFL player. Cutler is a close second. I should hate Brady but I don't.

Winston, Mariota, Williams and Cooper are guaranteed. I like your list. Its just hard to say. That's what makes it so exciting. We have never needed a hit draft more. I'm so used to getting our needs in free agency.

I hope so too. I attribute most of the ho-hum attitude to the preparation from Fox and his staff. I don't want to make excuses, but there were a lot of times that Denver looked uninspired. That comes down to preparation by the coaches in my opinion. There are undoubtedly some players that needed to get their act straight, but my first judgement is reserved for the coaches.

I think that Landon Collins would be a great pick if he gets there. I was wondering what everyone's thought for three or five picks that they would take at 28 depending on rise/fall, trades, and the expected Dolphin face plant - just seeing if CK reads all the posts.

I think Denver gets the best OL in the first with the idea that one of the ILBs will fall to them in the 2nd Round. The way I see it, Denver can land Erving in the 1st and either Dawson/Anthony/McKinnley in the 2nd. One of those ILBs should be there.
