I like Bruton alot. Front office seems to always looking for something better. If Stewart isn't the answer, we are just fine with Bruton in my book.Hoppy wrote:Bruton envisions starting roll

I've been to the Titan stadium in Nashville. Its right on the river. Seriously. So "cry me a Rivers" can literally cry in a river now. Just can't stand that dude. Bon voyage.
Not sure I want to face Mariota twice a year though.
I would rather face a rookie who hasn't played a down in the NFL than a seasoned vet like Cry Baby Rivers. The D we will have this year just might ruin any hopes Marriota has of being a quality QB. Throwing a young man like that in front of Ware, Miller, Wolfe, and Jackson might rattle him right into Ryan Leaf status before he gets any confidence. And add to that another two games each against strong Raider and Chief pass rushes....WHOAH NELLY !!!

In the long run Mariota could be better than Rivers. In the short term no but later on I think he will be. He's no Ryan Leaf.

On D we need to see what is up at FS and NT, those have been somewhat addressed and we are in wait and see mode. If Sly steps up and Stewart fits, then we are loaded side to side and front to back. some might say ILB, but we are set with Danny T and B Marsh IMO. Could be one of the most complete D's to ever hit the field. On the O we are in the same boat with only two ?'s there also, RT and Center. Those questions were addressed last year and we will have to see how they pan out. Jury is still out on Paradis, but we have seasoned depth there already if needed. Schofield, well, we will just have to wait and see. all that being said, I think our first pick should go towards our QB of the future. Brock could pan out, but I would like to make him beat out a blue chipper rather than just anoint him. GO BRONCOS !!!

I don't see us as a power house this season
kub didn't win with the men he brought with him why1 would they become winners now. I would like a QB at 28 but if not I think MLB (Anthony) if he's there. I don't like having 2 starting MLB getting over injuries.

I'm not sure we're the top team in the AFC....a good draft might put us there but there are some good teams in the AFC this year. The usual ones and several mediocre teams got better.

I think Barrow could have a break out year, and Nelson got a lot of snaps as a rookie. We have Barret and Davis in the wings too. I wouldn't mind getting a first or second round stud in case Danny goes down again, but I don't think we are hurting there either. I think we still have more talent top to bottom than any of them.

I hope so but I don't have that warm and fuzzy feeling yet. Too many people expected to have a breakout year for me. And Free Agency was less than impressive to me. Hopefully I'm wrong.
