Now It on to KC where they can't stop the run. They1 have an o-line much like ours all new starters there. Our pressure will hurt them. Smith should throw some to us . They don't run the ball as well only because the line not because of that back he still one of the most dangerous in the NFL but they run screens to him a lot. Still no TD pass to WR don't think they will be able to get their TE deep on our pass rush . We do Smith like we did Flacco 2 sacks and countless harassing hits we win with Defense. Love this defense and Sanders will brake one at some point this season. Punt return is exciting again. Not since D. Williams have we had a player that could take it back like that. yea we had Royal but he isn't as good IMO. Our defense should be in first place but because of the Manning Pick 6h, 7 points more count against the defense. They only gave up 2 FG's 13 points gives us a tie for 4th with the Bengals. only Panthers with 9, Miami and NYJ with 10 gave up fewer. again like some of you have said a win is a win I think it's a message to the rest of the division Defense wins championships.

Mariota will be a much better QB than Winston. He's good.

Ss, could not agree more. I can already hear the monocles of our fat fan base crashing on the marble floor but I personally could not be happier. We have a defense with true rage ozzing out of every player and I am anxious to see the offense develop. More ugly wins like this will get us ready for the post season and prevent us from coasting through another lackadaisical regular season. Elway wants kicking and screaming, I want clawing and biting.

Wow, what an impressive defensive performance! Denver has the best all-around ILB duo in the league...the pass-rush is swarming...the playcalling is relentless...and the secondary is smothering.

The offense is a little concerning, but I think they will improve as Mathis and the line gel. If this is the new normal for Manning, Kubes has a hard decision ahead of him. Manning can still win plenty of regular season games with this D, but I don't see this current offensive look as being Superbowl worthy. Oz probably isn't the panacea either, but he at least has the potential to maximize Kube's offense.

A win is a win. Defense won that game. And we all know defense wins Championships. Hoping Manning just has some rust to work off. I like SID's point. Win ugly and learn. Struggles only make you work harder.

Should be a good game on Thursday.

Facebook said I would be deleted tomorrow. I didn't want to give them the satisfaction. I did a self delete just now but it said September 28th it will permanently delete. Soooo, for those of you on my friends list there, I am not sure if they will delete me tomorrow or it will happen on the 28th. Sort of a who was first, the chicken or the egg kind of thing.

Just an FYI.

Oh and f you Facebook. Heartless bastards. Lol

Too early to tell yet . Mariota didn't play against top 4 defense. Winston did. Look at the pressure he was under when you see highlights.Didn't Manning throw 28 INTs his first season?

I'm more then concerned with the offense I'm looking forward to letting Manning get his record most yards. If I remember right he needed 370 yards at the start of the season. judging by his play in Yesterdays game he should have that record by Halftime game 3. Look at his roll out pass to the left. DT. had 2 steps on his defender and Manning threw it in the dirt. He hasn't been the Manning we all loved to see since game 1o last season after that he has thrown more INTs than TD's Time has caught up with him. The Broncos couldn't even Trade him when they tried to. If You want the Offense to go start Brock and get the kid ready to back him up. I have been against Manning from the start of the play offs. I wanted him to be cut and eat some dead money It would have been about 8 mil. I see it not looking with my heart look without yours what do you see. Age catches us all.It caught up with him in week # 11

Maybe so but judging from preseason action and now one game Mariota looks better than Winston at this point

I wish I could disagree with you on Manning...he doesn't look much better than he did at the end of last season. My optimistic hope is that Kubes will figure out which plays work best for the roster and the overall efficiency will improve. I also think there is a chance that we just played against one of the best defenses in the league (after us, of course), so things should pick up against weaker opponents, especially the run game.

I'm concerned about the offense as a whole as well. The offensive line is shaky at best and Manning doesn't look equipped to run this new offensive scheme. Plus our much vaunted new running game wasn't that spiffy either. That defense is top of the line though.

This line isn't built to protect Manning That was last season's line This is a Zone blocking built line. Can't put the blame on them even when Mathis catches up with everyone. The line really is built to deceive the defense with the QB on the roll. Manning was sacked 4 times because the line was trying to set up a pocket that isn't their strong suite. Manning was sacked up the middle most of the time if not every on. The guards are suppose to be the strongest players on the line . The system isn't strong with the QB standing in the pocket. I hope it gets better because I'm a fan of the team but I see what I see. Put a rocking chair on the sidelines The old man should retire.

I think the line will be OK...the zone scheme requires so much cooperation and familiarity, which will take time with Mathis and these younguns...A-gap blitz pickup has been horrible, but I think that's very correctable.

Raiders may be on their way back to top 5 pick in next years draft. D.Carr could be out for a while with a broken bone in his hand . Both starting safetys, Nate Allen Torn ACL and Charles Half a step Woodson shoulder MRI's for all today. I guess we should count our blessing. CJ had an injury but I haven't heard anything about it today.

What happened to Cody Latimer? They play Bubba in front of him. Did he hit the field at all? I don't remember seeing him on ST.

4 offensive snaps...3 pass plays and 1 run. Norwood had 51, Caldwell had 14. Hope we aren't seeing another 2nd round bust in the making

dammit Hop, you're getting me worked up! The fact that Denver can't run a full Kubiak playbook is irritating...feels a little bit like that last year with Tebow, when Gase was limited to calling zone-read runs and deep post-route PA passes. I love Manning, but I'll be pissed if the offense doesn't pick up soon and Kubes sticks with Manning solely out of respect.

Sorry I didn't mean a thing I said Manning will throw for 300 yards against KC but he always does.

Me also My son and Cody are friends well I should say My son and Cody's brother are friends but he lives with Cody . I was hoping for a big season from him . He doesn't get along with Peyton. The way I hear it is Peyton doesn't like him and Cody can't do anything right as far as Manning thinks. Manning yelled at Cody when a linebacker wouldn't let him get up field on a play Manning yelled you're suppose to be up field. Cody said he did it in front of the stadium when he does that to others in the huddle. The Backer was holding him. Could be why I'm on Peyton too Cody plays well with Brock can't see why Manning doesn't want him in when he plays. Not talking bad about Manning just can't understand how Cody runs the right routes with one QB and not the other

Whew, thanks...I needed that. Hopefully a dose of KC is all Manning needs to get back on track. Wish I was feeling more confident about his season.
