This will grow into a good line in time it may take the whole season. We have a rookie at LT and a LG who is feeling his way into the system. Center who is a second year PS player. Might as well call him a rookie. RT who has played in the system is the only one who has. Vasquez at RT is learning this system. But they are learning Manning's system also. Brock moves better than Peyton that's why I believe he would be a better QB for the team Now. It will help the line because they only have to learn one system. I know you don't think much of Brock but at this time he is the best we have for all the reasons I've listed IMO.

Great discussion, fellas! Here is a question for everyone...if Manning does stay the starter, should Kubes/Denny scrap the WC and go full shotgun, scrap the shotgun and go full WC (but without the rollouts), or keep using a hybrid at the beginning of each game and then favor what ever system seems to be working that day? I personally like keeping the D's guessing, but I honestly don't know how much of that is stunting the OL's improvement. Ultimately, I would like to see if Manning can function in a modified WC offense, but I just don't know if he has enough deep accuracy left to capitalize on play action, and if the line can't figure out how to run-block as a unit, it's a moot point anyway.

I would keep the WC . Next season is what you have to play for . Manning will be gone and the QB will need his line to know the Offense. You built the line for your system go with it. Manning will have to adapt the great one can. He will have to work on his rollouts it's a big part of the WC and without it the defenses will just keep teeing off on the pocket like they are now. The future is WC it starts now or next season we'll be in worst shape because the elite will be gone.

KC was rushing the outside most of the game last week. I don't think Detroit has as good of defense as KC though so the line should perform better.

Yeah...I knew of Miller, but I was a little disappointed to see how many key and role players will need contracts at once...as Utah said, Manning's contract should come off the books, so I'm hopeful we will get most of 'em back...My priorities (in order): Miller, Miller (he's worth twice anyone else), Malik Jackson, Marshall, Trevathan (I could live with keeping only one of the two ILBs), Wolfe, Smith (if age doesn't catch-up), and Bruton (for special teams and solid backup)...the rest are just icing

Miller will get his 100 million contract what's important is with whom will he be playing. We can't afford to pay him that much not and keep this team in the win now and win always thyme. The way Shaq has come around don't be surprised if he doesn't start next season . One of the starters will be gone. I would like to keep both Middle LB's It may cost us 5 mill a piece per season Brock is also a free agent next season Burton is third on the team in tackles He's in a contract year but he is a guy you can count on. Jackson will have a head start with Wolfe but the better man stays. Austin and McCray will say Good-bye if they want too much more money.

If Elway is hearing rumblings of continued sub abuse, then I could see that happening...but if it's just a money issue, I think Denver will franchise him for 2 years before they let him slip away for nothing. I think he'll ultimately re-sign, though...Denver can cut Ware in the offseason for 10 mil in savings. Miller plus a rotation of Shaq and Ray is still one of the best in the league.

I thought of the Tag I think it will cost 15 mill.a year for Von. Not sure we can pay him that and sign most of our FA. Unless they decide to let the team go just because Manning is gone. That's not "For now on" so John will sign Himself a starting QB be it Brock or a FA Manning's' money will have to go to a QB not all of it but most.

Detroit can't stop the run I think we can run on them . we don't have the RB like AP but we can get one of our backs who in 2 games combined have not reach the 100 yard mark, to run for 100 in this game if Manning sticks with the run. Save some arm for the rest of the season. run the ball.

Well the big bad raiders got their first sack of the year. They are playing the Browns and playing them tough. but The good news is IMO the Chiefs are the only team we have to worry about in the division. The defense is strong on the run.

Another team using the old manning offense is Gase with the bears. They have a pretty good RB in Chicago but they can't run the ball either. Gase has gone big with a third tackle like they did here last season when CJ ran well

The Bears are pretty much awful all the way around. Plus they're playing the Seahawk defense with Chancellor back.

Forte has 4.3 ypc Hop and Clausen has 6 ypc so far today. Chicago was averaging 4.9 ypc coming into this game today and Denver is averaging 2.8 ypc. They are running the ball better than us.
