Peyton should announce his retirement now for the season and we can ride the emotional wave like Ray Lewis (good point SID) and The Bus both did. Can't hurt. He's not one for heaped sentiment so I don't see that happening.

Ray could still get it done. Walk the talk manning can't I think he would just bring the team down after he has more INT's then TD's every game. When the fans stop forgetting about the last game he played and can hold on to what you see during the game then you will know how the team feels and they don't forget. Yea they say he's our guy but they know they can't win a SB with manning.

I've just decided to let the whole Manning thing go. He is our QB until Kubs or Elway says otherwise. They obviously know more than I do. I'll just keep hoping for good play from the offense.

Good afternoon Broncs!

I thought I had swung in and offered congrats on the win? Don't see it though. So congrats on the win, against us that is. Wins are wins and y'all keeps a winning so bfd how it happens. But aside from that, eventually you boys will be playing someone that will keep the pedal down and have good players and coaches. So, just keep getting the horses out the gate quick and like Satchel said so well "don't look back, something might be gainin on ya." lol
Our team has one receiver that actually looks for the football and makes adjustments to make plays-Crabtree. Them other cats are either to young or didn't get the memo. Anybody got a good RG they don't need? hahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Hey though, our team seems to be pizzzing others off being how we already won 2 games and last year it took UNTIL WEEK SIXTEEN TO WIN TWO GAMES. Man I am glad some of RM's mess is way behind. He has a big enough behind to hide some stuff but Goodyear might cover it?

All the best (til we meet again on the field of course) always.

Peace !

I've decided to finally throw my hat in. If we cut Manning with tar & feathers, we are not going to be able to sign any blue chips going forward. Not like we have been able to. Remember Manning chose us because of our unusual human reputation. Free agents do take note of how teams treat their cattle. Ware recently said he considered how the team stood behind Champ out of respect up until the end. We have a lot of good will built up with this team and we will be shopping a lot next year for more blue chips. We are not the guiltion Raiders or the souless Patriots. We have a rep that allows us to sign top talent like Sanders way below market value. Players like Harris and Brutton show others that this team respects its own and that will always catch the eye of free agents like Talib. I am all for cutting low performers but you just can't do it to Manning specifically. If we publically kill our unicorn we are simply going to lose our market discount that has us winning off season after off season. So ultimately its just not our way to cut our stars like that and keeping that perception in itself is worth letting Manning give it one more go with a #1 D.

Please let us not become anything resembling the Patriots. We got close to that in the Josh McVideo debacle.....

That was pure torture when he was here.

Gotta hand it to SID, what he says makes a lot of sense. Which leads me to think, the mystery injury theory is still our best bet to see what we might have with Oz, and hopefully , it's a more efficient and potent offense 8-)

Yes it was well said but unfortunately not accurate They benched him and cut him . Baily cost them some points in the Super Bowl and the next season they cut . He went to the Saints who also cut him. The team is what important here not Manning. He is but a piece of the team who is not holding up his part. You bench him I never said cut him and the talk is to bench him. He can help Brock like a coach on the sidelines with his knowledge of the game his body will no longer allow him to preform like he use to. It was well said but sorry sill not buying

That could allow Manning to save face but the Players will know so just bench him. I think if it were me being a player I would come to a team that wants to win more then saving the face of a player. Yes that tells me the manage puts winning in front of everything. If I want to win I'd sign with a winner not someone who places one man feelings in front of the team.

today is the day that Marty McFly is to come to the future. The sign he read was Cubs win the World Series. So much for that

I have my opinion and you have yours Hop. Mine is Oz sucks. And if he hasn't learned anything from Manning thus far in 3 1/2 years what makes you think he would learn anything from a benched Manning. That logic doesn't hold water.

Maybe that's why the Broncos are working out a QB.

I thought the same thing about a QB working out I wonder why but that would be for PS at this point. Maybe he makes the move and they expect Manning to ask for his release That sounds more like the scenario. Manning would try to go elsewhere and play out the remainder of the year. His pride would be hurt.

I don't think Manning will want to continue playing in a different city. I think he would rather just retire.

CSprings. I just lost my email I use for my pick em team so I had to make a new profile "This is Standard". I won't be able to access my old email as it was quarantined after it started sending out spam mails. Anyways I will be picking via the new profile from here on out (not that Iwas doing well). My picks for this week are in.

Battle for 1st in FF between me and Ute this week. I'm hoping my home boy Kaepernick hangs a 30 spot on Seattle D to get things started tonight. Good luck Ute. and don't give the "Rogers is on a bye" story, my double digits every week Denver D is on a bye too 8-)

My wife loves it. I used to be able to buy it up in Lava but they quit carrying it so when I was in Colorado I bought a case.
