Big pay day could be coming for Miller:

Hate is such an ugly word but he should retire.

If he blows chunks in this game, I'll join you. This should be a good test.

Happy Halloween everyone.

Go Broncos!!!

Coming off a bye week, this should be a good test of how this team will look going forward...I just hope the line sustains the improvements we saw against Cleveland. If we can establish a running game, I think this offense can be just competent enough to compete for a championship, even if Manning continues to struggle.

I agree the word if is what bothers me . If Manning can hand the ball off about 25 times then we have a chance. If he goes into changing the plays and passing the ball 40 times we don't have a chance. Manning's game will tell us what the final score will be. Good teams cash in on mistakes.

They say wade never had a defense that could stop Rodgers. Well he never had this kind of talent on defense against Rodgers

If we don't leave them on the field all game we have a chance. Otherwise it will be an ugly night is my take on this.

I am absolutely PUMPED for this game! I did not have the 1,000's of dollars needed to go to this game but I will be downtown at my first tailgate party of the year. I am anxious to see the fully rested fury of Miller, Ware, Wolfe, Jackson, Barrett, and the new Sly Williams (out of nowhere). I am loving watching teams double/triple team Miller. I feel like teams are acting like we don't have anyone else but Miller. We have a machine gun clip of pass rushers and pretty much any of these 'other guys' could be a star on another (less stacked) team. I foresee another standard issue onslaught from the D line. Rogers better be double checking all directions because I think Wade Phillips is going to be releasing the cheese eating monster. What has caught my eye the most this year is the pressure up the middle..and right..and left. It's like watching a laser show.
-Prediction 1: Miller & Co rack up 5 sacks
-Prediction 2: Broncos: 31 Packers 24 :)

Hard for me to say the Broncos win this game. Unless this offense has had a complete overhaul (Manning) they can't put up enough points to keep up with the Packers. Any turnovers close to our end zone will score points for GB. remember that strong legged kicker who can hit from well over 50 yards in the altitude. He kicked in College here in Colorado. Like before I'll root for the Broncos but predict they fall 27-20 If Manning keeps from turning it over Broncos 20- 16

7-0 and Denver has the ball. They need to keep scoring as....... as good as this defense is you won't shut down the Packers a whole game.

Good offense vs good defense
...
I'm sure glad to be on the winning side of that equation.

Well, I guess that answers that! Manning played like he needs to play (nothing spectacular, but not too many mistakes), the line has finally gelled, the TEs made some plays, and the Defense showed they don't need to force 13 turnovers to dominate a good offense. Well done, Super Bowl contenders!

Hell yeah!!

Dear NFC,

You're welcome.

I'm in the Eastern time zone but still quite a ways from New England but I heard a loud collective 'gulp' from that general direction late last night.

Looks like some rest and a little tweaking made a world of difference. Me likey!!!

I can't shake the feeling that with one or two less penalties that could have easily been a 45-3 win over an elite defense and elite offense. Scary. This D line is unreal and for real. This D line made Rogers look like back up. I have never seen Rogers that nervous. Even when he wasn't getting legitimately slammed he was being sacked by ghosts all night. I just hope he enjoyed his time at our haunted house.

We gifted them 7 with that roughing the passer penalty. Other than that, we looked spectacular. Hope we turned the corner and its full steam ahead.

Very pleasant surprise. Denver showed up to play and man handled Green Bay and Rodgers. Never seen Rodgers get shut down like that before. 77 yards for him is unreal and a true testament to how good this defense is. Offense really picked it up and showed they are able to put points on the board. The quick start was crucial and they piled it on and never let off. Manning was a different person last night than we have seen. Passes looked a lot better for the most part. 1 interception against that D isn't too bad and by that point the game was pretty much won. O-line held their own and did a good job run and pass blocking. We just need to keep this up and nobody will want to play Denver!

Lol, love Idaho's confidence in Denver in the Pick-em league. He beat us all this week where it counted. He put his money where his mouth is

This game was the best game of the day. The Kubiak offense looked great and Manning stayed to it and looked good doing so. They ran the ball 34 times for 160 yards. Manning finally hit his TE's that roll was great the first one to Green opened the running game and the deep plays to DT. It was clear that GB took the whole bye and worked on a plan to attack the Manning offense. They were unprepared for the rollouts as the ends crashed on every play most of the night. They were thinking that Manning would be in the pocket and they also thought the broncos would pass the ball more then run. Manning had one relapse and he threw a pick when they should have been running the ball. The next time they got the ball it was back to the ground and game. If Manning can run the offense like this and not go back to being pass happy we have a chance to beat anyone. 21 of 29 for 340 no TD's but if the running game is working we don't need him to carry the team. Great game Manning Now keep it going. You have another week
