It's nice to see a less heralded member of this star-studded D get some recognition!
Yeah just saw this as well. Really cool he got it. Pretty sure there is at least 1 Bronco in the running for this every week.

I think he will get more sacks when he gets going he is only in his 2th game this is like his preseason is just ending. He had a good game each game he got better. Now teams will start planning for him and that will help others on the line. I look for Von to profit from this

I can't disagree more. The team wanted a third . The way John likes to talk trade it would be easier for him to move up if he trades a third. he can't expect to move back into a higher round like a second with a fifth you can with a third and a fifth or next seasons 1st and a third this season may get a first back if you go after that running back we need. Or a QB if you don't know about Brock. anyway I like Elway's decision

Now I hope Manning stays with the script and not revert back to trying to do too much. If he does we should win the game being the better team. The team with the least Turnovers wins games that will be true to the outcome of this one. I had to say this because I have said it the last 2 games and we have won. Colts win 20- 17 if Manning throws 40 plus times. If we RUN a balanced attack and I have Caps on the important word Broncos win 31-13

Our Defense is a monster and against a better offense only gave up 10 points. I could see Denver holding them to 10 or under for a second week in a row. Luck throws picks so expect Talib and Harris to be all over the ball when it gets let lose. Our pass rushers should also have an easier time against a QB who will be less mobile.

Luck can run the ball and has against teams all year. I just can't see anyone beating us if the offense continues to run the ball. It opens the passing game up as LB can't drop into passing lanes. They have to honor the run. Remember this the Colts are a second half team. They fired their OC this week and will be out to show the world it was his fault that the team couldn't play up to expectations. If we play our game it really won't matter

The problem with Stafford is he is streaky and erratic. Not sure about taking on that guy but if it's between him or Oz I'd take Stafford I think.

I'd love to see Stafford and Oz battle it out for the starting job...Stafford looks pretty shell-shocked, but he's one of those guys who's had the bad luck of playing for a tire-fire team and an unending parade of coaches. I'd like to see what he could do with Kube's QB-friendly offense and a great defense.

Why wait till next season when you could spend the money on someone else if he doesn't work. if he is a bust and we wait till next season just give the Raiders the Division title.
About this game Manning needs 284 yards to become the all time leader in yards. I know that doesn't seem like a lot of passing yards. Only once this season has he dropped back to pass the ball 40 times or more and thrown for 300 + yards. He was 31-42 for 324 2TD's 1 INT QBR 83.5 against Detroit. The other 300 = game was this past Sunday he was 21-29 for 340 yds ) TD's 1 INT QBR 93.6 clearly his beast game of the season. His next best QBR would be against KC 59.4 he has not been over 50.0 in any other game this season. If we run the ball I hope he can see he has a better chance of getting the record than if he comes out throwing the ball 40 = times. Run the ball we win pass the ball Colts win.

I had shifted over to your side after that ugly Browns game, but with the running game finally working, the line playing as a unit, and Manning looking much less shaky, I would be utterly opposed to playing Oz now, unless Manning completely collapses or develops another nagging injury that requires time to heal. Denver finally looked like a bona fide Super Bowl contender on Sunday...you have to let the season play out now unless something changes drastically. If Denver suddenly went to Oz and his inevitable first-year-starter struggles lead to a collapse, not only would you have a fan revolt, but the vets on this team would riot as well. I would expect some players to request off-season trades, and all that good will that has helped Elway to sign elite vets to cap-friendly terms would evaporate in an instant. Sticking with Manning, at least, 90% of the fans and players will understand if Elway puts all his chips in the middle and things don't work out...at least he played the odds and took a shot at glory.
Like you, I'm concerned about how Manning will play in swirling winds and snow come January or even February (hopefully), but we are past the point-of-no-return with this team...time to cross our chest and try to enjoy the ride.
