17-17. We need to settle down and contain Luck. And Manning can't throw anymore picks. We've also got to get the ground game going as trying to win through the air isn't a good idea.

Stupid fucking penalty when we could have held them to a field goal and still had time to score. It's pretty much over now.

How fucking stupid is this fucking defense...I'm embarrassed and PISSED! They gave this game away with some of the dumbest penalties I've ever seen.

There is a difference between an aggressive defense and a dumbass one. We did kinda okay all year in that category but morphed into dumbass today.

The defense didn't play well but the offense didn't either. The defense was tired and couldn't get off the field on 3rd downs. Yes the penalties were all bad. Talib said he was the second poke in the eye. The guy he poked poked one of the Broncos. Von was protecting his team mate when Talib jumped in.
Offense was bad sorry 36 passes 14 runs that's a loss all day long. The colt always drop their backers on Manning if you can't run the ball. The best thing about this game we play KC next week

Yeah, offense struggled too...the running game reverted right back to pathetic. Manning played OK after the first quarter, but we can't keep having to make up for those INTs...the second one was forgivable as DThomas' legs got tangled up with Butler (who made a great catch), but the first one completely sailed past the receiver. Like you said, Manning is going to see a lot of tight windows when our running game fails like it did today.

Everyone drops their backers on Denver if they can't run the ball.

And Mannings 2nd intercetion was on Thomas. He lazily went for the ball and the CB took it away. That pass was right in front of him. We stopped running because we were behind 17 points. You can't run with that kind of deficit. The Colts took this from us.

I don't see it that way at all. The first 7 plays 6 passes 1 run The next two sets of downs we had run the ball all of 4 times. So the ratio wasn't balances from the start. No this was like I called it If manning threw the ball more the backers would drop into the passing lanes and INT's happen . He had a good game last week because we came out running the ball. They threw the ball3 times the first series and 4 times the next one that was the game plan Bad planning. 2 TD's 2 INT's. I gave him another week last week this week no way. If the offense keeps the ball longer the defense could rest on the sidelines and they my have been fresher and played a little better. Yes the D stunk it up tonight but this is one of those games I talked about when you play a good team. Luck is a good QB who was hot today. You will see more games like this if we can't run the ball. Manning isn't the man he use to be. Blame the D today who will be blamed next time? and that pass was poorly thrown can't blame DT for that that was on Manning.

Manning certainly isn't blameless, but he also brought Denver back in the second half. Despite Denver showing a clear preference to pass, Denver still struggled to manage a paltry 2.5 yards per carry against the 27th ranked run D. This was a true team loss, if I ever saw one.

Well... That was pathetic. My take is that Manning doesn't have the heart to beat Indy. Years ago before his first game against them, he said he wished he didn't have to play them. Most QB's are itching to beat their old team but he never was and its still evident.

We still have a chance to make some noise since we play Cincy and Br*dy at home. Win those and we might still be in the driver's seat (depending on other factors of course). I have a feeling the first team meeting this week, the team will hear a mouthful from the coaches.

I also saw him jumping around afterwards accidentally repeating that action several times to refs. I hope he fully recovers from his Tourrettes syndrome.

--- What I saw, sloppy inefficient tackling (Luck running the ball on 3rd and long successfully) 2 Pass interference calls on Indy that were not called. But as soon as a I barely nudged the guy, unsportsmanlike conduct...
What was up with all the attempts a long bombs? the success ratio per pass is really low, and I know they saw stuff but gee, it seemed to me that when we finally tied the game a 17 it was time to "release the hounds" I like to say "It's Miller time!" usually shortly thereafter (quite coincidentally I'm sure) Von comes up with a sack. What's up with Ware? Old Man syndrome? My Lumbago..
Not being able to get the running game going surely put a hurting on us. Kaepernick? I agree with the "kick the tires" Stafford? No way, damaged goods he is only successful BECAUSE of Megatron. Dude, if Houston or Jax had him they'd be winning (YIKES!)

Somebody call Brian Billick and offer him a job please, he looks bored
oh yeah, somebody do a "Gibbs slap" on Talib and remind him he IS a professional.

Talib first mistake was the poke in the eye. but that is just the excuse to suspend him. His real mistake was when he clapped his hands after the FG with 28 seconds left . He mocked the ref that called the poking penalty on him. He looked right at the ref and clapped his hands to say good call ref. That was dumb cheering the ref. His team mates will back him on the poke. But again This was a bad game for the team and frustration was on the face of all. Jarhead ware is getting old and will retire at the end of the season I think. You can see it in his face on the sidelines yesterday. He is playing at a all pro level when he plays but his back will not allow him to help his team mates. At least he sits out or at least the coaches pull him if he doesn't want to sit out. They should sit all the old folks IMO

Even after Ware heals up, I wouldn't be surprised if Shaq takes over the starting job for the rest of the regular season, allowing Ware to play a strict pass-rushing role 15-25 snaps per game. Once the post-season roles around, maybe Ware will have enough gas left in the tank to play starter minutes again, if necessary (although there is little drop-off with Shaq).
Honestly, I'm glad Talib got suspended...a competitive guy like that should respond well to the punishment...not to mention the fact that he deserved it.
