He knew what he had. Didn't do anything with it. Tried the overhaul method. Again, my thanks to the Wade Phillips hiring.

Love Wade too. I just would like to see what Gary could do with a QB that fit his style game. Maybe good, maybe bad, just wont see it with Manning. I just saw the highlight of his fourth pick. When is enough enough?

Got to love Oz...a stork that will get his receivers killed. He's like a tall version of Manning at his worst.

On the bright side, maybe it doesn't really matter whether Manning is cooked or Oz is an upgrade, because it's starting to look like this defense isn't as elite as we thought anyway.

If the offense can stay on the field the defense can rest.

I still can't say OZ is the man he's like a rookie and will be. He moved the team the good thing Then again The Chefs were in a prevent some of the time. I would like to see him get a start. Next week would be a good time to let Manning get healthy. 4INT's I'll go with the excuse that he had Rib problems and couldn't follow through and his foot wouldn't allow him to get away from the rush. Or we can go with the old ones. The line was bad the TE's can't catch the ball. I did notice the running game picked up some when Brock was under center and did some roll outs. Brock looked good escaping the rush and picking up positive yardage instead of taking a sack. We will see how the team responses to Manning the next overthrown pass he makes to Hillman when he's open and he throws his arms up in discuss. Am I the only one to see that? I still feel good with the game because I didn't think we would win. But I don't want to loose another game we should win. Right Now we will have a Playoff game at home . But we have to win the one we can.

Pay a ton gave "playing at Home" a whole new meaning, never crossed midfield the whole game he played today, oops I take that back on further review, he did cross it once when exiting the field.

Wow. Sports dog had that rant brewing for several years. Well I can't blame him, its been a while. I hope he enjoys the We-actually-beat the Broncos parade. The KC fans are probably going to declare that game their superbowl and call it all house money from here on out. 7-2

Plus the fact that Talib was out as well as Ware. That didn't help either.

Congratulations to the Chiefs. I know there are sore losers but seeing a sore winner in here was a bit odd. I suppose losing 7 straight will do that to a person. Anyhow congrats.

Manning is done. I still don't think Oz is the answer. I will always be a Bronco fan and take the losses as well as the wins with grace and integrity. On to the next game. Still a fairly good lead in the division. Might be a bumpy ride. Living just outside Cincinnati, I wouldnt mind seeing them win it all if we don't make it.

Broncos still at 7-2.

Well Dog you are having a good year The royals WIN their first WS (85 was given to them) and yesterday your Chiefs beat one of the greatest QB of all time . Too bad he was not the same Manning . THe one you beat has been old for 19 games you beating him the KC pathetics may just win my argument for me. And yes we'll see you in the playoffs but what year? Brock looked great against you he had the ball 4 times one 3 and out three long drives one ending in a lucky finger tipped INT or it would have been 6 points. The other 2 were TD all in a quarter and a half and our defense just gave you FG's so be happy you beat an old warrior who has played too long and not our second string QB from the beginning or you would have gone home like usual

Didn't I say at the beginning of the season we should sit manning for the bears game anyways? Give Oz a shot, have him practice all week and give him a whole game to show us what he can or cannot do. I would rather sit Manning and have him fully healthy against the Pats the next week then to have him hobble out there this week, get even more hurt and miss a longer amount of time. I think resting Manning this week is the right move to make for the team.

Agreed and we'll see Oz have to perform rather than playing a prevent defense. I don't want to throw money at him next year unless he's what we need. If he is just back-up material he needs to be paid accordingly.

And Oz had one TD and one INT yesterday, Hop. The other TD was Hillman's run.

Peyton may be hurt more than what's being reported. He could be out for weeks with that foot

I was talking about drives he moved the team on 3 long drives 2 ended in TD's One was a Tipped ball INT> Still we don't know what he can do he did well yesterday . Interviews from the locker room were all the same . No Player but Brock would say Peyton was our QB. The others said whoever is out there is who we go with it's a coaches decision. Hillman said the coaches will play who they think is the best 11. Before he was sticking up for Peyton went of twitter and call the fans out.

From the moment it became clear to me that Denver had a Super Bowl caliber defense, I've been saying that I want to play the QB that gives us the best chance to win a Superbowl in a 1 year window...I've mostly (half-heartedly) stuck by Manning as the QB I felt gave us the best odds, but now I can't imagine him winning anything if he's not 100% healthy. Unfortunately, I don't think 99% of first-year starters are capable of winning a Super Bowl either, and Oz didn't convince me otherwise yesterday (although I actually think he showed decent potential).

At this point, I would advocate to start Oz while Manning heals completely, and then I'd re-evaluate who should start once the playoffs begin. Truth be told, though, I'm holding onto a very thin thread of hope and would not be too disappointed if Kubes committed to the rebuilding process and named Oz the permanent starter [sigh...]

Now the question begs, if Oz lights it up and the offense responds well this week, do we pull him and start manning against the Pats if he says he is feeling better?

It's time to move on for me. With the sole exception of the Green Bay game, we won all those other games because of the defense and in spite of Manning. Then he "clicked" in the GB game and I thought we had turned the corner on offense. Now we have lost the last 2 and I put 99% of that on Manning despite the lack luster o-line.

I'm not sure I like Oz but I know Manning is done.

I don't mind taking a step backward so we can move forward.
