I think we end up overpaying Brock a little. I trust that Elway will strike a decent deal with him, but Brock wants starting money despite his limited number of starts. Most teams get a good feel on their new QB during the rookie contract, gives them time to know what they have. We have a limited view and rookie contract time is up. I think he can lead this team though and I would rather have him than some of the broken FAs floating around this offseason.

Interesting. I think getting the deal done with Miller is great, but tagging Oz is too much money. That puts him up there with elite QBs cause it's based on the top few at the position isn't it? I think tagging Jackson would be much better for the team.

I have heard talk about using the Franchise Tag on Malik or Oz if we sign Von. Looking at the numbers it doesn't make a lick of sense to use it on anybody but Von, if we use it at all. Here is a link that gives the proposed numbers and explains the tag, http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-foo ... etting-one

Thanks Icky I agree The tag on Jackson is best,if you want to keep him.
There is a rumor Cleveland is looking at Brock and will throw money at him. I hope he looks at the team not the money

I do also but if we can only keep one MLB I'd take Marshall Danny has had too many knee problems but would hope they try to keep both

I think he's emotionally damaged goods. Not sure if he has it in him anymore. Who knows though, a change of scenery may help.

**I think he has much more upside than RGIII, In fact with the right QB Coach / Offensive Coordinator (PFM) why not?

Agreed, much better option than RGIII.

Chris Harris is at the combine watching WR run. He tweeted there are a lot of slow WR coming into the league this year. and he's right I still say look at trading that big contract of DT and let him go somewhere else to lead the league in dropped passes.

Now the Broncos don't think they can get a deal done with Von before time to tag him

I haven't really looked at QB's in the draft I think we needed help at RB and along the O-line. With that the Broncos are talking about Dak Prescott from Mississippi St. He is about the same type player as Jones so you could get your wish.

I don't get it I thought Wolfe out played Jackson this season. D. Wolfe had more sacks more QB hits I thought and was the one man I thought this front line couldn't do without. So why are we paying or offering Jackson so much more? Do you think it will come back to hurt us with D. Wolfe? I just don't think Jackson is worth being paid 12 million a season.
