Yes????
Hello CK! Thank you for the congrats. Unless there is a major conference shift, we wouldn't play the P*ts in the Superbowl. But it was great to see Brady get that deflated feeling in the conference championship. Heard there are still bits of him in the turf at Denver.
Hope all is well with you. You have my email and number if you need anything.

I was thinking 12 mil and that's it. If they get Von locked up in the next few hours, then slap the tag on Jackson. He's good. He's not 14 mil good.

I think, in a way, we won the superbowl when we beat that pats. The statement Denver made when they went our there and stomped brady and co into the turf was foreshadowing what was going to happen to newton and the panthers.

** Crazy thought= what if Cards had won?
A: Von would still be MVP
B: Peyton may have actually had 1st downs throwing the football
C: Carson Palmer would have been intercepted and sacked multiple times
D: All the above

I think if the Cards had won we would win that game easy. But if Manning plays better against a softer D, does he pass Miller for MVP since everyone is thinking this is his last rodeo? I still say no, but it may have been closer. Watching the Superbowl the way it played out, there was a clear MVP from the beginning of the game. Nobody else affected the game the way Miller did. Denver win or loss, Miller would have been MVP.

WTF Peyton? I'm hearing he won't hang them up this year. No problem you say, we will just cut him. Well that's fine, but it will cost us 2.5 million in dead money when we do. That;s half the savings we got by franchising Von. Actually, when we sign Von to a multi year deal later on (and we will), we will be eating all 2.5 plus be paying Miller 19+.I appreciate what Manning did for us, but he should hang them up and go out on top. For him to try and hang on another year and cost us money doing so, is a slap in the face to the Broncos that gave him the opportunity to be remembered as a Champion and not a guy that stuck around too long, and somewhat tarnish his legacy. We are running out of money fast. It's a given that Malik and Danny are gone now. Clady and Ware are going to have to take pay cuts if we are going to be able to keep B Marsh and CJ. We need to cut Vernon (of course) and maybe Bolden too, to keep Hillman. Bottom line is, we can't afford to bring in any free agent steals like we do every year now, without making some painful cuts, like a Vasquez or a Daniels. My point is, that 2.5 million is going to sting, bow out gracefully Peyton.

We're hung with the 2.5 regardless of him retiring or cutting him. That's the prorated signing bonus. If he stays, his number against the cap is 21.5 based on his contract for this year. Then there's that little matter of the salary cut/no cut from '15. The 4 he earned by getting to and winning the SB while playing the requisite percent of snaps also goes against '16's number as a not likely to be earned. So a minimum of 6.5 or 25.5 for him this coming year.
SB 50 in hand and lost money this year v. being a Chief fan and shedding oh so salty tears for another year. It sucks but we still have 6 plus months before the season kicks off, at home as the defending champs.

Washington didn't help with Brock's contract paying Cousins 19.5 million a year. Really is he that good? These players are overpaid. Cousins has never won against a team with a winning record. How can you pay him that much. Washington The new Cleveland.

**I think Brock will get over paid, just not by us.
There is not much of a sample size to gauge his ability.

They didn't help the Pot Roast either. He's back on the street not wearing a ring and not pocketing the 8 million he would have made here this year. Vance Walker and Kilgo did that for a fifth the price. I wish Brock and Malik would realize, Elway will take care of you, but not for more than you are actually worth. Julius and Decker got paid and kept their job this year. But, I bet they would trade their left nut to have been part of this Championship. I heard a good one today on ESPN," There are no more middle salaries for QBs, there are only $600K and $20million QBs now." 11 mil is more than fair for Brock, and for Malik. Elway is giving Brock the team and will pay him fairly to run it for now, but he told Brock ,this won't be his big payday here, yet

Being fans of the team we hope they decide to stay for the price that will help us sign someone else. The business side for the team is what we hope for. That being said The player knows it's a business also and he could get hit next season and his career could be over that's why I think we only sign one of the two. Not sure who I'd like to keep if it came down to that. I guess I would want to keep Brock. We could cover Jackson leaving easier than finding a QB who could do well here next season. We'd have to find one who knows the offense and I don't want an ex Texan coming here starting for the Broncos.

And like every year....everyone is over analyzing everything. No one knows what goes on in the front office...as is evident in most the talking heads eat crow on a regular basis.....and if Peyton does play, he'll be a Bronco. Know one knows how his contract will be played out. I bet he restructures and takes a major pay cut so Brock can be payed....but I don't know. A Brock/Peyton qb tandem sounds like another SB to me.
