My high school coach let me try on one play in my last practice of senior year, does that count? I played center all year before that so he thought it would be nice if I got to see the other side hahaha.

Well The Dolphins are making CJ an offer right now and that will give the Broncos 5 days to match. Gase and Fox are shooting at Elway with all they have. Wonder why????? As far as The Idaho Bronco I thank everyone for chiming in but He can't help how he feels just leave him alone he's only angry and feeding his anger will keep him talking smack. Trouble is he does have some good points when he's not trying to be cute. I'll just let him speak. But Idaho Opie is a Black racist name that my people use and I find it in bad form. It would be like me calling you the N word. But I bet you knew that. back to the real world here and that's the Broncos I have a question Has John made a few mistakes this year? I think so The first was saying that Brock was the Broncos QB and He and Kubiak changing their minds and playing Manning. The next was offering a low tender on CJ Anderson. He is also wanted by the Raiders and the Pats. the low tender will take up more cape space then John wanted to spend if he matches offers. This is the first time Elway didn't think things through IMO

I don't remember Elway saying Brock was Denver's QB, he always said, if Peyton is healthy, he will play. He followed through on that. It will suck to see CJ go and he was the best we had, but I was never really impressed with our RBs for the past several seasons. We can get another RB on the cheap at the same level as whoever we lose.

Broncos letting CJ shop, he is visiting Miami as I write this. Bilal Powell from the Jets is visiting with us, and reports are we will talk to Alfred Morris. I don't see either as an upgrade, but they might come cheaper than keeping CJ. I haven't heard anything on Hillman, guessing we can get him back at a decent price. Makes me wonder if maybe we see some one in the draft we really like. We would have to make a big trade to get down to Elliot, but I can see Travis Henry (licking my chops) there on pick 31. But with our QB situation, do we go QB with our first pick? I would ideally like to see us take Paxton Lynch, but I'm not sure if he will still be there when our 2nd pick finally rolls around. There are also a lot of very good DL in this draft, but how deep will that position be by the end of the third round? Sure will be interesting to see how John pulls a rabbit out of his hat this year. I would have to say getting Henry and Lynch in the first two rounds would be my dream scenario.

What would you give away for Kap. The Jets and Cleveland are talking to the 9ers also so do you get into a bidding war?

You are right he didn't come right out he did say that Peyton has never told Gary or myself that he doesn't want to be the backup. Any report or rumor that suggest otherwise is incorrect. This is a tweet from John when the reports were that Manning told the team he would not be a backup. I want Elliott but he will be gone if the Broncos don't trade up. Henry might fall to 31 I'll take him also. The problem is the backs out there are all 30 years old or more Hard to be able to count on them the whole season. Hillman has no visits scheduled as far as the media knows of. There are no reports so yea we can bring him back but why?

Right now, I don't think we should. He is cap heavy, Talks are the Niners might restructure to get a trade. I would give a 2nd rounder if his money comes down

Raiders are really building . Bruce Irving, Kelechi Osemele and Sean Smith If Del Rio throws in a few blitzes This team could do some harm next season.
But they looked great last season on paper.

Been watching NFL Network all morning, they keep saying something will happen soon with Kaep, but still nothing yet. Talking heads are split on whether he ends up in Denver or Cleveland, both sides are staunch about where he ends up. Frustrating as hell

Trevathan on MTC/Sirius right now. We stood absolutely no chance of signing him. He's loyal to Fox beyond a fault. He made it known early he wanted to be there and when asked about Denver he said it was all business and loved the chance to play but, it was always Chicago and the familiarity of Fox.

Jackson taking shots now about how they all could have been signed earlier is what pisses me off. He and his agent knew they would hit the open market. Don't begrudge them for that, but don't go that avenue and say I could have been had for the cheap earlier. Same goes for Oz. They made the money now. Let's see if they all make it to the end of the contract as signed without being cut or asked for a reduction to help their new teams later.

Continue to root for the name on the front

I don't know I read that we get nothing. The tender was 1.6 million don't know if they match that's a big difference it was an original tender not a 2nd round tender I think because he was a UDFA we get nothing

Yeah, i heard the same thing. Due to the type of tag we had on him, we don't get any compensation if we don't match.

Broncos Have 17.1 cap money we have needs draft choices, QB, Miller. Clady and Ware will give us some space but we still have to pay for that defense. Not sure we Match for CJ. May Kap comes in and restructures his contract. Would help and give his new team mates a boost.
