Max McCaffrey shuns Denver's UDFA offer. Probably butt hurt we didn't draft him.

I think we had a good draft. Still not sure of the 2nd pick but my job isn't to pick the team just to root for them. Not high on the QB but he was the best in this draft IMO good pick where they got him bad if he's higher. Booker Good back can run the ball and is better than Hillman maybe even CJ. We claimed 2 safety's and that's where we really needed the help ST and Safety. I still don't see a kick returner on this team as we lost ours through FA. Looking forward to seeing The UDFA later. Who knows Gotsis may turn out to be a well known man. But for now he brings the grade down to a B+ for me. If he was a 4th I would give an A. But to reach on a second. If he doesn't pan out John will never take his Line coaches word on another pick. If he does Coach sit next to me next season.

I didn't think he was good enough for this team anyways. John just did Easy Ed a Favor. Christian Is the real baller in the family.

I pretty much like every pick except Gotsis. I don't see anything remotely compelling about the dude that warrants picking him before the late 4th or 5th round. He is Australian so maybe he's a hell of a scrapper.

I'm just tickled we took Booker in the 4th. I've seen the kid at games here and he's the real deal. Hillman needs to worry about his long term employment now.

I liked it better when Al Davis was alive and he selected punters in the 1st round.

Speaking of which....wtf was Tampa thinking when they traded up for that punter in the second round?

**a little garlic pepper, some lemon juice and a fork.

Oh yeah, might want to cook that at about 350 in the oven. otherwise you will need some foil with a few holes in it for the grille

Cooked it in the oven for 1 1/2 hours at 350 F. I put garlic, pepper, lemon juice and a can of beer in with it. Tossed a few scallops in with it near the end and served it up with artichokes and rice. It was great. It weighed about 3 pounds. That's a pretty normal trout out of a reservoir I fish at near Lava.

Here is the finalized UDFA list. I see a few stand out names. Two mountain boys I see catching on with at least the PS are, David Moala, a plug of a DT from Utah St. and Eddie Yarbrough, a fierce DE from Wyoming, that reminded me of Ware, with his backside pursuit, and ability to shed blocks. I got to see these guys vs the Wolfpack and was impressed enough to be happy they're getting a shot with the Broncs. Two other names to watch are, Mose Frazier, who was Lynch's favorite receiver at Memphis. Also, after losing our LS Brewer to FA, look for Nathan Theus from Georgia having an inside track to the final 53 to fill that role. I'm also interested in seeing what Lars Hanson DT out of Sac St. brings to the table. He is a monster at 6'8" 315.

What happened with the last pick? I missed that. Did we trade it away?

Here are the details on the trade back with Tenn. in the 5th, Springs. I'm guessing Elway was trying to conserve a little cash. It's the only way I can see justifying it. Money saved from a 5th to a 6th, and dropping the second seventh, will pretty much pay for all the UDFAs camp salary. That and more trade up ammo for next year by grabbing another 6th in 2017.

The winners in the draft IMO the clear cut winners are Jacksonville and Dallas. We drafted what we needed but I still give us a B The one team that got an F will be The Eagles for not looking ahead and drafting to hurt Dallas. The pick that gave them Dak was a good pick he will be a good backup and may turn into a good starter later on down the rode. The Broncos would have drafted him I think if they didn't get Lynch. I give the Cowboys an A and the Jags an A for building a defense that will look like a winner on paper. Lets see if they jell into the clone of the Broncos that most teams are trying to copy. We did draft for need don't you think? Who will be our Kick returner this season? any thoughts

The Vikings have passed on the fifth year option for Cordarrelle Patterson anybody interested in a returner who can't do much else. We have people who drop passes But he may come cheap

I believe we might have answered that with an UDFA Hop. Braylon Addison out of Oregon is a burner with big time return abilities. Although there is not much call for a slot receiver in Kubes offense, I can see him catching on as a fifth receiver return man. If Latimer continues to disappoint, I can see Addison as a reason to cut ties with Cody. Our five receivers would be, DT, E-Man, Benny the Jet Fowler, Sunshine, and Addison. That is if Sunshine supplants Norwood. If we keep Norwood, Sunshine or Addison may be relegated to a year on the PS. Keeping three TEs and a FB will prevent us from having 6 receivers.

This is the direct 2017 trades to date. It's a little backwards from the layout my simple mind can follow. We still get one back from TEN but owe for Sanchise and Vernon Davis. I think you are correct cost control for this year and an offset for one of those two previous trades.

Hopefully the lowest comp pick we get is in the fifth round
