Yep CK. And they have the nerve to treat the incidents like they were hard to decipher. More often than not, I don't need the aid of the instant replay to tell. Or I can definitely tell after the first or second replay shot. Makes no sense how these guys are sitting under the hood for 3 and 5 minutes. That stuff zaps the intensity out of the game, and definitely takes the crowd out of the games as you said! :(

All of these "Good Ole" improvements being ushered in by Goodell are only going to hurt the league image and appeal. I didn't agree with Goodell from the start. Now, I just plain don't like him. If Tagliabue were still the commish, I bet we'd have had a new bargaining agreement by now. HE's obviously in favor of the owners (I side with neither party [[and ain't that deja vu all over again]]), but only because I see the unreasonableness of what both sides are asking for, and am turned off and disgusted by neither side's willingness to budge on a compromise.

This is so true. The entire crowd knows immediately--as soon as it's shown on the big screens, and they're down there looking at all these accelerated views with all the complicated bells and whistles. I mean, make the friggin' call or don't throw the damn flags! I'm curious too as to what the percentage of penalties are overturned (vs. the penalties I would overturn, hee hee). It's so crazy. Not to mention this new one, where the QB has to wait until the official is properly positioned behind him--what a bunch of hooey!

That is nice, Reecey. I think everyone had written them off this year. I love it when the pundits get shit on their faces! Your team and my team came so so close to being 3-0 as well. Mannn, we'd be sitting on top of our divisions like kings. I have big issues with Dolphin offense and big, big issues with the play calling... Sometimes I just want to go find Sparano and smack him upside the head. If something's working, you just don't mess with it. WTF???

Have you noticed that some teams win all of the reviews? Rex Ryan must be a genius at officiating because every one of his challenges have paid off. The refs never rule against him.

I'm sure he has "the fix" in, Em. I wouldn't put anything past him!

I don't think so, 16. The Niners finished strong last season and I expect them to right the ship again. They do need to start playing earlier. That's a problem that the Texans always had. They gave everybody too much of a lead before they started winning games.

Em - I appreciate your optimism...I just hope Johnson (new OC) can get the O going...It was a little disturbing that Raye said he was only running an O that Sing wanted. I still think Raye screwed the pooch. Our D needs to light a fire too...

Sorry your Texans lost to the other team...I was in Houston on biz last week and the talk radio was buzzing about the game. Also heard about the HS Player in Beaumont who died - tragic loss of a 17 year old.

That was such a shock. It must have been overwhelming for his parents.

Does anybody have any defensive backs that they'd like to trade? We'll consider any reasonable offer.

I like to see the Texans games in person, but I'm not going to Oakland. I hear that the ground moves out there. Hurricanes I can run from, but I'll pass on earthquakes.

Ya you don't want to be 24 stories up when a 7 on the Richter scale hits like I was in 1989...I'd rather endure that again then to have to drive through East Oakland.

16, are you suggesting that East Oakland is a less than ideal place?
