I'm very scarce on Fox. I am trying to get contact measures with a few people though. A few Rockets fans. The few other Texans fans outside of myself and Emeritus never really showed up much so I'll leave them to their own devices. I'll see if I can convince the Raider fans to drop in. I know that RodeoJoe was with us in the old Swiss for a while. I'll see what those guys think.

For a while I used to drop in on Fox to just read the articles. But, since finding Bleacherreport.com I don't even bother with Fox's articles anymore. Bleacherreport's articles are all done by amatuers, and they have the way more talent than the fox columnists.

I have my privacy settings set for only friends. Everything from friend posts onward is on a "Need To Know" basis. Strangers don't need to know. I'm starting to get friend requests from lots of others that frequented Fox. I am only adding those who were regulars early on who were near and dear with us. No offense to the newer people of Fox, but it ran it's course, and I have no interest in getting to know the newer ones. I am happy and content with the group that I have right now.

Thanks CK. I was just looking at the Views copared to Posts fifteen minutes ago, and was wondering about that.

I'll probably drop in from time to time to participate in Squares. I've only shown up three times since they've started doing though, so I guess my attendance is far from expected on a weekly basis there. Not to mention, I don't know who 99% of the people are there. I only know that Joker is Joker, Jenn is whatever the lady's name, Howbout is Howbout, and Spock is Spock. There are so many other newer names that I didn't even see the point in bothering with trying to keep up. I just don't have it in me.

That place is a lot different without "The One Who Shall Go Nameless." But, they waited too long to really do something about the antics. A lot of us were really turned off to the site after ALL OF THAT! We probably spent more time fighting with folks than playing to be honest.

It's a shame too, because I was supposed to tag along with HB and play with the soccer guys. That was fun last summer, and we made a bunch of new friends. A lot of likable guys. Oh well. I'm happy where I am.

They get sent to my email. I thought once about having them sent to me via the SMS thingamajig, and thought better of it. My last phone could only hold two hundred total text messages anyway. That really sucked! Lol!

Yes, Reecey--they can lurk, but we can tell that there are lurkers online here. If there are more people viewing (see the Board Index) than posting, you know there are hooverers... Same at FB, although you can render your profile only for your friends--unfortunately, I am not at the level of FB--need to sell a few more books till I get there, lol.

Let them "lurk" Who cares? If they keep it up? I'll lurk back at them....(lol)

I've had my thirty-minute bike ride (easier than walking for a man with one foot), breakfast and the Beaumont Enterprise. There's still nobody at Switzerland. I can understand that from people in the Pacific Time Zone, but it's a quarter until nine on the East Coast. The Swiss must not be early risers.

I do that with Facebook and all other sites as well. People always think I'm looking at the page but I may actually be across town...lol. I see IM's all the time on FB from someone thinking I was there.

You can always set your profile to "offline" so that people don't see you on there...just a single click and its done...just an option.
