Call me a homer, but I think there is a chance our backup defense is better than a few starting Ds in this league!

Our D will be brutal this year. Finally.

They are finally playing with that edge we've searching for throughout the Fox/Del Rio era...I guess they are just the type of team that needs an aggressive scheme to bring out that snarl

Yep. And a 3-4 adds to it. A 4-3 is fine if you have the personel. We didn't under Del Rio. A 3-4 lets you use existing talent better. Plus Wade is a linebacker kind of guy. Unless you have at least three or four dominant players in a 4-3....you don't have shit. We have hybrids.....stack them up at linebacker and let them loose.

Wow, ball down to 1.9 yards per carry this game...what the fox happened to him since the second half of his rookie year?

Ball gets way to much credit, every time he gets a chance to prove himself, he comes up short. I'd like to think Ball is decent trade bait, but we won't get a good pick from any team based on his performance, let alone a good player.
IckyIPA wrote:the funniest thing I heard in the post game interviews, was Barrett saying," I hope i did enough to make this team". Shaq baby, not only did you make the team, you increased your playing time two fold by your performance so far. I think we are gonna see a lot of rotation on the edges, keeping Ware, Miller, Ray, and Barrett fresh and ears pinned back all game every game

I agree the only thing with Caldwell is what has he done on ST. yes he caught the ball well but that 4th and 5th receiver has to play ST. That could be the decision that hurts him or trades him.
