Well Rich, after what we witnessed tonight? I don't know what the flock is going to happen. Maybe we trade all our picks for a RB some where..... jeeeesh IDK man. The O line better be spectacular and the defense must be a heck of a lot better than we thought.

Raider on.

Somewhat disappointed, but nothing I can do about it. Let's hope we can score some more points this year!

Thanks old friend. I am liking this kid more and more. Carr certainly needed all the help he could get. Now build the lines, and more secondary help.

Go Raiders.

Well crew, lets hope this keeps getting clearer and clearer tomorrow and Sat. More line help is paramount, then again so is the secondary.

Carr got some much needed help with Coop. So, with our lost at sea brother Coop and Lakers Coop being kind of namesakes this kid will be great.

Raiders baby, just win.

Peace !

I'm ok with the pick, simply because it was a big need in the draft...Cooper Crabs, Jones, Streater, Holmes and Butler....and sprinkle in some Reece....

Derek Carr is going to have him some fun this year...

I do agree with most, that If we got Williams, the WR pool was deep and we could have gotten a good quality WR, but still the same...this kid is the real deal.

Hope the Raider nation is happy with their draft night outcome. The virtual food and drinks will be served throughout the draft in the Switzerland Forum, should you care to wander through and let us know your thoughts on your team's success (or failure)--

I like Cooper...we haven't had a #1 WR since Tim Brown retired. I'm confident Del Rio and Norton Jr. will get Our defense ready to play, no matter who they have to coach. With the exception of a few games last year, the defense kept us in every one, and that was under Tarver. Now we have an experienced defensive crew of coaches to get them ready. Still some good talent out there to be had, to upgrade the pass rush. Reggie and the scouts have been to a lot of Div 2 &3 schools maybe they know of one there. As for Cooper..we needed to score points, and Carr needs some weapons to do it. We all though Reggie and company would never take a WR at 4, so they must see something in this kid. I watched when he was announced, and there he was sitting on the couch with his mother and sisters....not partying like Winston...it was a family get together. And I believe that's what Reggie and Mark are trying to build here...a family...a Raider family. Lets hope it works and we get the players we need to day. Still don't know why, we didn't get any comp picks, for the players we lost in 2013.

I'd still take a shot at Randy Gregory...Norton Jr. can straighten him out. Pair him with Mack and Sio...instant Pass Rush

1) What a win for the Raiders!
Last week, I penned a "Schein Nine" on the ideal first-round marriages. My No. 1 pairing: Amari Cooper and the Raiders. And when the Jaguars picked Dante Fowler Jr. at No. 3, Oakland general manager Reggie McKenzie didn't hesitate to get the pick called in and the card to the podium.

The Oakland Raiders made the perfect pick. Repeat after me: The Oakland Raiders made the perfect pick.

Yup, the Raiders were the big winners Thursday night.

Cooper is special. He's an instant-impact, do-it-all receiver. It was a glaring need for Oakland. Young quarterback Derek Carr gets to grow with a stud playmaker who starred at one of the nation's true college football powerhouses. Is it too early to choose Cooper for Offensive Rookie of the Year? This pick is that perfect.

Finally, Oakland has a true No. 1 receiver -- and legit hope.

Edwards fills the bill in the D line in a couple of ways. I see Del Rio with a huge plan for encouraging the chitttt out of him to be far better than others expect.

Raiders we taken over/no excuses tour baby.

Now that the Chiefs drafted Oakland native Peters and I see the Charger/Raider co-stadium is gaining steam, the AFC West is going to be one big happy family!!! Well, except for Denver
