you say that but you know a Playoff team will beat this broncos O-less team. Brady will smack us the Bengals could beat us If we have to play any team that don't make mistakes we fold . Mannings passes were overthrown underthrown. Yes some were dropped this Offense ran for a whopping 42 yards on 15 tries. You know and everyone on this page knows we can't win a SB like this. so what do we do
"Brady will smack us"...don't forget, after 4 games last year, NE was 2-2, had just gotten embarrassed by KC, and people (including NE fans) were saying that Brady was done. I'm not saying that we are in the same position or even that Peyton is poised to roar back for an MVP year, but it goes to show that teams often evolve over the course of the year.
If Peyton keeps throwing more picks than TDs, then I my patience will obviously wear thin. But I think this team with Peyton has a higher floor than the team with Oz as the starter. Unfortunately, Peyton probably lowers the offensive ceiling, but with this quality defense, I'd rather keep my risk low, rather chase slightly higher offensive potential. And let's face it, as much as I like Oz, there is no doubt that he carries with him plenty of total bust potential. If Kubes wasted this talented defense on an eventual bust, he'd have a virtual mutiny on his hands!
