Did he ask if Eleanor picked up all the rice and why she wasn't by the window?

lol....might have been a jealous husband looking for his wife but how he got my number I'll never know. He kept repeating my number and asking if that was the one he was calling....and I said yes and responded I've never met an Eleanor in my life....At least he stopped calling when I got a bit abrupt...lol

He also isn't mobile at all averaging less than a 100 yards rushing a season. Plus I think his passing numbers have been inflated by having Megatron to throw to. I think I'd take a pass on him except for a back up. Kap has a better upside in that he can scramble and plays well out of the pocket. You would have to use him in a West Coast or modified spread as he is terrible behind center in a conventional offense. I'd still take Kap over Stafford any day just for his running ability but neither one grades out well in terms of stats. Stafford looks like damaged goods to me as well.

As far as Oz I find it curious that all you hear is Elway is enamored with him yet no attempt was made and still isn't to lock him up beyond this season. I find that odd if truly they think he's the QB of the future. With so many QB needy teams out there such as Houston, the Jets, and the Bills (to just name a few) someone will throw ridiculous money his way once he becomes a free agent unless they have a top draft pick and their eye set on one of the young guns in the draft next year. Denver is saying one thing about Oz and their actions say something quite different. Elway must have something up his sleeve and is always pretty coy on his true intentions.

The team will tender him with a first rounder coming to us if he is taken by any of the other QB needy teams. Those teams will have high choices also so it would be better for us if he is taken.

Good point Hop. So we tender him for one more year and then see what we have. Now it makes sense.

And another draft choice, especially if it's high, is always welcome in many ways.

Another fun fact about Lava Hot Springs......one of my friends owns the Ligertown property now. It was razed after the incident but there still is skulls of all sorts of animals there. Nothing about this place was good but it's interesting to see the stuff buried there.

I saw it too. Aside from the historical aspect of the hotel, I feel dumber for watching that crap. I wanted to reach thru the screen and choke those guys for being such idiot little bitches. They are making money for being on TV, but they have to walk through life branded fools for as long as they live. The funniest...errr... stupidest part was when they tried to draw correlation between the minerals in the water with magical elements. Iron = Sharmonic properties, Manganese = Shape shifting abilities, what a crock of shit!!! LOL, The maintenance guy that has worked there a whole 2 months and seen 5 ghosts, I bet he got an ear full at the viewing parties they had at the bar.

Never liked Drew or thought he was clever. besides the only thing manning is contributing to this offense is the shotgun the last two games

Read the Ligertown link I posted Icky. I know the dude who shot the last lion (after they said they all were accounted for) behind the grade school. That's a true but bizarre story right there.

I read somewhere that we haven't won but once in Indy in the last 10 games That was 2003. Hope we change that today. Run the ball and we will.

Good read, that's just insane how the Ligers were caged with only chicken wire. I live within a half mile of the Sierra Safari Zoo here. They have a Liger and Lions, as well as many other big cats. Thankfully there pens are very secure. It's pretty neat hearing the Lions roar early evening and mornings, it echoes throughout the valley.

Actually, it's been mostly the"Pistol" Hop. pretty much the same, I know, but it has helped give Manning the three seconds he needs and also helped the running game. I like the "Maniak" tag, thanks for sharing SID :D

Well I just enjoy a good pun. This is a wierd offense and I think the Maniak offense fits perfectly. It may stick with me.

These cats moved into town looking for food. I think they shot 19 or so and recaptured 24 more. It was survival free hunting season in Lava that day. The game and fish took all of the dead animals away. No one was allowed to have one mounted or anything. And they were just contained with chicken wire. I saw that place up close before it imploded. The idiot owners are still trying to get the remaining cats back after they've fled to three different states. That's the problem with warning labels.....they keep the idiots alive and then they reproduce...and they reproduce more than normal people do. In my day we called it "natural selection"....lol

Let's hope the "Maniak" offense kicks ass today. The Colts always make me nervous ....

Well I am interested to see what the heck the offense will look like today. As we duct tape this "system" together we are definitely keeping the element of surprise on our side. Defensive coordinators preparing for the Broncos are probably going insane trying to make sense of our game tape 'tendencies'. Our unintentional incoherent madness is definitely a good thing leading up to Pats game. This this most positive spin I can put on this from a strategy perspective. As a fan, this is keeping me on the edge of my seat. Hopefully the Packers game will mark the start of some consistency but maybe we'll just keep winging it and keep the Pats' peepers as confused as we are.

I'm liking how the offense has evolved...yes, the constant changes speak to some major issues; but each week, I feel that we are moving closer to a functional offense. I like how Kubes has said "F it, I'm calling some bootleg passes...I don't care if Manning is the slowest QB in the league." Those boots have turned out to be surprisingly effective! I love how the pistol helps the running game without taking Manning out of his comfort zone. Now, I'm eager to see whether Davis can improve our red-zone passing effectiveness. I really think the future is looking much brighter for this offense, even if last Sunday is the best we can expect from Manning.
