Tonight is the night. What a crazy football day yesterday. Panthers dropping that perfect streak. I have thought all season that the Cards are the strongest team in the NFC. P*ts have to root for us because the Bengals are in the driver seat with the P*ts loss to the Jets for the #1 seed. We should win this game. But, we should have won the Raiders game as well.

Hope everyone enjoys the game. Go Broncos!!!

** I started to watch the game. Then i saw that Cincy second drive right down the field to score. Color me disappointed when the next Denver drive looked like the Oakland game where we spent a lot of time going backwards. 3rd and 20+ is Horrible. I turned the television off. I went to my pc and started to read. But I decided to at least follow the game on ESPN. Can someone please lure Jon Gruden back to the sidelines? and while you're at it take Phil Simms with you? they both are lousy sportscasters.

back to the game. I popped in and out and was pleased when we scored the field goal, then finally a touchdown. I ALMOST turned the television back on. Mr. Elway needs to figure out who we can get that knows how to block. I suspect Ryan Clady may be done here too much money and too injury prone. It is like every other year he is out. And almost always a season ending injury. Comments?

oh yeah, I was really happy to see we tied the game and went to OT. What is up with McManus? He can kick a football from almost 70 yards away but misses a 45 yarder? thankfully he didn't miss the one in OT.

Shout-out for "MILLER TIME" fumble recovery GAME OVER!

That turnover to secure the win was justice for the play before when they didn't call a fumble that we recovered that should have ended the game.

We had so many chances at the end of the game to win it in regulation and didn't. Glad we were able to come back. Very tired this morning when the game was over just before midnight this way and had to get up at 6. But would rather be tired with a W than a L.

One more to go. Lock up that #2 seed men.

Tired and smiling.

Honestly if every single member of our offensive line is cut next year, I would be happy. Not a single O lineman has done anything worth paying for. I think Clady is a probowl player but he is just too big of a cap risk. I think he will ultimately stick around but I say we draft nothing but O linemen this year (I don't care how low our picks are) and cut the fat. I've seen our O line get their asses kicked game after game and sadly we just are going to have to roll with these soft 'blockers'.
I can't stand Phil Simms either but I actually like Gruden. There was a petition to ban Phil Simms from broadcasting Broncos games but that bill must have failed. He does get excited when the Broncos are losing and he is just plain bad at his job.

I am still hoping for a Pats loss and a Denver win for the #1 seed. It's a long long long shot but there's a slim chance Miami pulls off a FU win in Miami. The Dolphins are not competing for a top 3 pick so I think they will come out and play the Pats hard. Plus the Pats have been playing poorly lately. I think Miami has a slim chance if some weird stuff goes down...
...well I can hope.

There is no logic this season. It's been crazy. I'll root for the Broncos and the Fins this upcoming week as well. Who knows with this most illogical season.

I was torn on the fumble. I figured it was a 50-50 call and that they wouldn't have enough evidence to overturn the call. His elbow looked like it just barely started moving forward right before his forearm was knocked forward and possession of the ball was lost. I think that was a difficult call either way. Anyways, the Denver D stepped up and capitalized on a Bengal mistake the next play and ended it so I was happy.

I still think the second to the last play was a fumble, but no matter, the heat Von put on AJ is what caused the game winner. McCarran was ready for that snap, he just started looking for the rush before he caught it. He was definitely more aware of Ware than the ball. The number 1 D in the NFL came through again :  :D

I for one am glad we snatched victory from the jaws of defeat rather than the other way around.

Hoping that winning is contagious. If we get the #2 seed, that isn't too shabby at all. Oh... Make that the #1 seed for SID.

Yeah the Defense was in the QB's head for sure. It was funny cause I was watching the game with my father in law and he was upset that the game was going to come down to an iffy fumble call. He was happy to see it continue, then the Bengals fell on their faces again  btw, my father in law is a chargers fan

Congrats to DB for pulling of a W on Monday Night over Neezy For the FF Championship. Ironically, it came down to AJ Green(DB) versus Demaryus Thomas(Neezy) for all the marbles. But, I'm sure Neezy will settle for the Denver victory, which DT was a big part of. Especially that one armed catch for a 3rd down conversion with a Bengal dry humping his left arm 8-)

I think it was a smidge more of a fumble than an incomplete pass but just a smidge. It was called an incomplete pass on the field so I think it was the right call to stick to it. Now that I am less drunk and we won, I think the refs called it right.

I agree, given the situation and initial call on the field, it was the right call to uphold it. Props to Kubs for calling the TO though so the refs could review. Good heads up/knowledge of the game play by him.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I didn't think we clinched the division last night? I thought we just clinched a playoff spot. Fox's playoff picture has us as the West Champs. KC could still theoretically win the division if we lose and they win right?

I think the title says it all. "If" the playoffs were to start now, we would be West champs.

But there is still that last game to play.

Must be, I was reading it as a current picture, but the markings for x= clinched division I read as literal, not figurative if the season ended today.

It's kind of funny how you start and eventually become a starter. But I guess that makes football sense. Start as a rookie and then work your way to starter.
