I'm liking what you put together there, I think I will wait a bit longer to post my mock. I have some bold predictions on here already, and it will be hard to tie them all into a sensible looking 7 round list. I do have to say, I'm not a fan of Prescott, he just didn't pass my eye test in the films I have watched. But hey, I'm as far as you can get from being an expert on NFL QB potential.
Just to let you know, we have two 5th round pics, and two 7th round pics, as of now.
Hey Icky...good call on the picks. I pulled those picks from the
http://www.denverbroncos.com site...oops!
Let me correct
Round 1 (31) - Robert Nkemdiche - DL - Ole' Miss
Round 2 (63) - Joshua Garnett - OG - Stanford
Round 3 (94) - Kentrell Brothers - ILB - Missouri
Round 3 (98) - Dak Prescott - QB - Mississippi State
Round 4 (136) - Rashard Robinson - CB - LSU
Round 5 (144) - TJ Green - S - Clemson
Round 5 (157) - Victor Ochi - OLB - Stony Brook
Round 6 (219) - Keith Marshall - RB - Georgia
Round 7 (228) - Caleb Benenoch - OT - UCLA
Round 7 (253) - Max McCaffery - WR - Duke...I'll take away Kearse and add Ochi. He's a wildcard OLB for me. I've seen him mocked from the 5th all the way down to a UDFA. Playing for Stony Brook, the kid really was head and shoulders above what was on the field. I think he can line up all over the place in Phillips' defense. He loves the game and plays with a relentless motor. He can fill the gap left by McCray and provide more LB depth.
To the Prescott thing...yeah, I get what you're saying. From what I've read though, he's a natural leader and has the raw ability to be a very good QB. My thinking for the Broncos' drafting him is rooted in an earlier report that Kubiak in 'enamored' with him. If that's the case, who am I to object? Ha! In the end, I think Elway and Kubiak draft a QB in the 3rd Round. Not sure if it's Prescott, but I trust Elway/Kubiak to make the right call. Especially because I think Sanchez is going to absolutely shock the NFL world this year.
