This kid is a stud....a bit of a "tweener" but real good. I'd like to be able to pick him up in the later rounds. We'll see if he drops that far.

Heard on ESPN that Josh Norman tried to sign his his tag at the last minute with the Panthers but it got all jacked up because of his agent. That would be the one that he fired.

Reminds me of the Dumervil situation.

Here comes a week of smoke, mirrors, and misdirection. It's been building, but I think it's about to go into full gear.

The one rumor around Denver that I can see is Elway trading up a few spots with the Packers depending on who falls. That said, I don't think it's a likely scenario. Teams are poised to reach on Thursday night, and I think Denver is going to benefit from a very talented player falling in their lap. I'm still hoping it's Nkemdiche, but we'll see.

I think 4 QBs go in the 1st Round and I think they'll all be off the board by the Jets' pick at #20. We already know Goff-Wentz go 1-2, Lynch is up next as early as #7 to the 49ers (I have them passing on Lynch personally, but as jacked up as that organization is, you never know!). After that, you have the Giants and Bears who need to address the QB position. Then the Bills and Jets at #19 and #20. It's possible Cook falls to to the #27 pick, where the Packers would entertain trade offers from anyone wanting to get in front of the Chiefs at #28. I would think the Browns and even the Chargers would make the biggest push. I hope Denver doesn't do it as I am not impressed with Cook. He's an athlete, but not a leader. He can make the throws, but I question his heart. That pick would feel like Cutler 2.0 to me.

I think the value in the QBs coming out is more 3rd/4th Round (where I think Cook and Lynch really belong). Hackenberg, Prescott, Jones, Brissett, Hogan, and Allen could be just as good as any of the QBs in this draft, including Goff and Wentz.

I'd rather see Elway let the draft come to him instead of reaching for a need. His decisions and track record to this point say I don't have to worry...

Per Schefter - Nick Foles is drawing interest from several teams.

Seeing that he moves like a sloth, I don't think Denver is one of those teams!

More Schefter - Eagles have been informed that Sam Bradford wants to be traded and he will not be showing up for their off-season program any longer.

...not surprised. I wouldn't hate Denver listening to Bradford's agent if he approached them. He's broken, but capable. Another QB that's been the victim of a poor supporting cast. I wouldn't pay more than pennies on the dollar for him, but I'd at least take the call and gauge the possibility.

Betting lines for the 2016 season. Out the gate Denver is the favorite in 12 games and 11/1 to win the Superbowl. 5/1 to win AFC.

Problem with that is he just signed a new contract this offseason I think.

You guys are right, but his agent has requested permission to seek a trade. His base salary this year would be $7M if I'm reading it right. Like I said, I'd take the call but not expect much of anything. That assumes the Eagles let him seek a trade. With Bradford not reporting to camp, there are signs this could be ugly. It may benefit the Eagles to just get Bradford out of town as they don't need added drama...especially with a new head coach.

** This is sooooo True, Hello SF, are you listening?
with them getting either Goff or Wentz, why does "Sammy" need to stick around?

I don't think we would look much deeper than due diligence.

** We will get to see how much gold the "Golden Boy" has left.
Prayerfully his appeal will get denied and he will serve his suspension just like EVERYONE else who, if they would have done something like this would have been suspended more than 4 games and the team fined some money.

they should revoke that 4th trophy, they got there by cheating and for me, that "taints" the victory.

I like the Graham signing...nothing negative there in my view. He's a guy that knows the system and can provide very good depth at the position. I'm hopeful Heuerman comes back strong, but having Graham allows him the time he needs without forcing Elway's hand at some point this weekend.

Well said. But no reason not to add the 1st trophy away for the horrendous Tzuck Rule theft all those years ago. That started Tommykins little golden saga to begin with. Without that they would still be at zero.

Even trying to do a mock draft seems like a chore. The only thing I'm sure about is Goff-Wentz going 1-2, after that, who knows!

Here's the three guys I have to the Chargers:

Jalen Ramsey - CB/S - Florida State
Why? Losing Eric Weddle hurts the defense. Adding Ramsey takes that sting away. He can play CB or S and step right in from day one.

Why not? They signed Casey Hayward and Dwight Lowery to bolster the secondary. Do you add another piece with other needs?

Laremy Tunsil - OT - Ole' Miss
Why? The Charger OL has been terrible and Phyllis isn't getting any younger. Protecting him has to be a priority.

Why not? Joseph Barksdale just re-signed, King Dunlap is healthy, DJ Fluker and Orlando Franklin are there too. The OL has pieces, but hasn't come together. Do you add another OT when the current group hasn't really been able to play together yet?

DeForest Buckner - DL - Oregon
Why? The Chargers best defensive lineman is Corey Liuget. Nothing else needs to be said.

Why not? Even though he seems to fill the biggest need, is Buckner really worth the #3 overall pick with Ramsey and Tunsil on the board?

I'm curious as to why this reporter seems to think we will get "antsy" as the draft approaches, I agree it is a difficult situation to not have a true starting QB, but the other options are:
A. Sam Bradford - No thanks too fragile
B. Brian Hoyer - No thanks too much ability to crack under pressure
C. Any other 2nd string wannabe QB, No thanks to that

I think we stand pat and wait, most likely scenario is SF gets a QB they want at 7. I don't see Dallas moving from 4 unless someone "ponies up" another Kings ransom.

The fun of draft week is all the mock drafts and trying to guess what the GM's are thinking. We do it the reporters do it guess. Most of the time we all know because the word comes out but the word hasn't come out. The QB's in the draft would not be first rounder's if they were in last years draft. well not high first anyways. The ram take Goff b/c people in calli know who he is also Wentz hasn't played any strong competition in college. Yes most don't set their sights high on the competition list being important on draft day but most big school kids get drafted small schools become UDFA's
Then they sit on the PS if they make the team it's not the first season. if you don't make it by the second you most likely find a new team the third and try again. Bibbs was that one back who we all talked about but the level of competition in college has held him back in the pros. Maybe he has a better year this season his third. I think he gets cut if he can't make the team this season. He was an UDFA. But Wentz is a QB and will get a shot. If the Eagles knew for sure who the Rams were drafting They would not tell their choice. Dallas is watching and not showing their hand. If Elliott fall to Dallas he is a cowboy. Eagles know that.
9'ers like Lynch he fits their scheme he may be the eagles choice but he is the next best QB in the draft may be the best. Cleveland will pick Manziel again Wentz will be better than Johnny but it will take time Too much time for Browns fans IMO

As for the Browns...look out. I'm not kidding. Hue Jackson is the real deal and will fix that franchise. DePodesta is no idiot either. He's acquiring picks and will fortify his roster in this draft. I wouldn't be surprised if they hit on one or two mid-rounders as gems.

We'll see what Jackson really thinks of RGIII on Thursday night. He is rumored to like Paxton Lynch quite a bit. If that's true, then they pull the trigger at #8 for him. If not, look at them trading back with someone that wants him (Saints, Bills, Jets, etc...).

In any case, three QBs are gone in the top 10. Rounding out my top 10 will be 2 DEs (Bosa, Buckner), 2 DBs (Ramsey, Hargreaves), 2 OTs (Tunsil, Stanley), and 1 LB (Floyd or Jack). Can't say who is picking when they go, but that's my guess for the top 10.
