I'm sure it will be addressed in the draft, but I would like a good vet in that position as well. I say find a trade partner and make it happen. We have the picks to do it.

I'd rather pick one up in trade and save our 1st and 2nd round picks for maybe Watt and a tight end.

Lol, Raiders getting left out in the cold. Old city doesn't want them and the new city isn't ready.

Patriots don't like Mixon. Should we? It's hard to say. the kind of behavior that got him suspended can't be tolerated and the NFL has been burned on this stuff several times in the past few seasons. I think Denver brought him in for an interview, I guess Elway will have to decide if he is a potential problem or not.

Glad to see I'm not alone on the Watt kid. He is a star will be the defensive leader this team need just with his play. The kid is a beast could play in the middle just what we need for the defense to jump back to #1

pass on him and he gets drafted by the pats the rest of the league have all said that he is a good interview. he has shown remorse and has been the idol of the sooners I think he goes to belacheat in the first if everyone passes on him. He's a great runner and why would the cheaters pass on that when they keep all the rough necks there already.

I think the 9'ers take McCaffery with their pick. I think they trade down in the top 10 and take him there is interest there. Also their GM John Lynch is also friends with easy Ed.

I think since Hernandez the pats are a little gun shy (bad choice of words? ). I don't know, we will see. Maybe he is a changed person. Seems like she hit him first, but still, his reaction was not right or justified. A lot of bad people can interview good. You have to have a person in the room that can read those people. I'm sure everyone he talked to asked him about it. I guess we just wait and see.

Yeah, I'm beginning to think he wont be available when we pick. That's fine with me and gives Elway an easier out with the less informed fans that just want the last name back in Denver.

I agree He isn't what we need here and I'm sure that John will go with our needs. I think he's too small to play RB in the league. I can't see him in pass protection against a 300 pound unblocked DE coming at the blindside of the QB. That would be ugly. And I see him as a Slot but our QB's don't pass to the third read much. They read too slow and that line was bad so the pick would be a bad one for us. I would take Cam Robinson if he were there but he won't be. there isn't another OT in this draft that we could use this season They just don't have the experience to play and we have a center coming off hip surgery I don't think we need another lineman doing the same. I would take a Back in the lower rounds . This is a deep class in backs

Good news, Denver isn't expecting Talib to be suspended for shooting himself.

The QB's are starting to apply first up. Apodaca (New Mexico) I'm not looking for the team to draft him he looks a little like Siemian but runs faster. His passes seem to be a little behind. I liked the Bloopers better than his highlights.Bloopers follow. I think this will let the Romo talk die or cause Jones to release him.

Romo isn't coming to Denver. Elway won't get in a bidding war with the Texans over him. My guess is they run with Seimian and Lynch and bring in a late rounder hoping for the next Brady or pick up a cheap veteran.

Left tackle is our biggest need right now. We also need a linebacker, Tight End, Defensive line help, and a return guy. If we could swing a trade for Thomas or some other good left tackle and then draft the rest we might be pretty solid. I'm like Hop and like Watt but we need a good tight end as well. We still have quite a few holes to fill yet.

I'm feeling a trade for a Left Tackle. We have a roster full of developing players and career backups or Right Tackles. I don't see John using these methods again with his fingers crossed. I'm sticking with my Dalvin Cook prediction, and think that maybe CJ or Booker may end up being packaged with a future pick or two, for a Stud LT. I called the trade up to get Lynch in the first round last year, let's see if I do it again. ;)

I've had this feeling that DT's days in Denver are numbered. I don't know why and I haven't heard or read anything. I feel like he is one of the players more likely to be traded due to his skill level and also what he costs us. He is a much better player than he has shown over the last few seasons and I think other teams would overlook that somewhat due to his potential. I could see him leaving in a deal for a LT. I just don't feel that our running backs are good enough or worth enough in trade value to entice many teams. Talib is talented, yet troubled and expensive, not a combo teams are looking for and it may be the stronger Denver locker room holding him together. Harris Jr isn't going anywhere any time soon. Neither is Sanders. Our QBs are locked down and cheap, no point moving them. Most other players would hold little value to other teams, even though we like them. DT just seems like the odd man out.

Now wait 5 minutes and this will be a news article on Yard Barker

I would say Roby is safe also. He is an excellent player and probably Talib's replacement when his contract is over. I don't think we will resign or extend him.

I could see DT getting traded. He's about the only one we would part with who would be worth enough to other teams.

On another note, there is still all this talk on Denver drafting certain players due to holes in the lineup. I just don't see that. Elway always goes for the best player, filling needs in FA so he can. Yes we still have some holes at this point but with the cap we have left and most likely moving on from Romo, we can still get more guys to fill those holes. Maybe a LT is the best player on the board when it comes our turn, in that case, Elway may take him, but Elway likes defense and I think tends to grade defensive players higher than offensive ones.

Exactly  I just thought it was interesting when Joseph was saying DT needs to step it up and be the impact player everyone knows he can be. It's like saying hey NFL, this guy has a ton of potential, has shown it consistently in the past, and would be a great option, hint hint ;)
