Pretty vanilla draft so far by Denver......hopefully they pick it up in the 2nd and 3rd. Cleveland continues to stock up on more draft picks....that's great I guess but eventually you have to use them....lol.

I'm happy for Bolles, he seems like a nice guy and probably one that will never cause any issues off the field, which is a big plus. However, I think too much other better talent slipped to us and we let it get away. I don't feel like Elway drafted the best available player and not even the best for need. He selected on need alone. I hope he starts day 1 or that will be 2 first round picks in a row that are riding the bench.

The Browns seem to be listening to their coach. They drafted wisely for once and acquired more picks in the process.

As far as Bolles? I wish Howard would dropped one more slot. He would have been a better investment although the thought of Sambrailo starting at left tackle scares the hell out of me...lol.

I think Lynch will come on this year. When Denver drafted him they knew he would be a 2-3 year project.

I think the Chiefs paid a huge price to take a risk on Mahomes. He might turn out to be a top QB in the NFL but that's a huge "might". He has wonderful tools but he played in an offense that is just suited for College and that transition hasn't paid off for those before him. A 3rd and a 1st rounder is a pretty steep price to pay on a gamble.

And the Raiders picked up a guy who might end up in jail....lol.

Even I don't really like the way that deflategate dragged on and I'm not a fan of all his policies, but you don't show up the draft where you know Goodell is going to be and taunt him and be a jackass. Have some class and let him do his thing and the athletes have their night. If you dislike the guy so much just don't go.

Both sound like good news for us and help offset how effective our pick may or may not be I'm not a fan of projects in the first round. Maybe if we won the superbowl the year before like last year but we didn't even make the playoffs this time and there was so much better talent on the board when our pick came around. I hope it works out but for now I think we made a mistake. I would have rather traded picks for a vet at that position.

I made a joke to my cousin when Cleveland traded their second first pick then when we picked I told him I feel like a Cleveland fan. Then they took Peppers then after that Njoku well he's all smiles this morning and saying he no longer feels like a Bronco fan. That sums it up what I think of the pick. This morning the sports talkers are all trying to tell the fans that he was a great pick the only LT that could jump in and start right away. I feel he better or John should go back to just drafting Defense in the first round.

We need a tackle and if he can't do that then the pick was near worthless. I also don't like the idea of us trading out of the first round and still selecting Bolles that the article talks about. We needed first round talent in this draft and moving back and getting a later pick would do us no real good. We should have taken any of the many other better players. I'm not usually this critical of a selection but right now I feel it was a waste.
