I think my comment about PAO's pancake brought him back here today for a moment. He was special to me, so I was really pleased to see him--even if it was just for a quickie!

I didn't get to eat lunch until 3:30 pm. I had two doctor's appointments and I thought that I'd go eat between them. By the time that I finally got to see the first doctor it was past time to see the second. It didn't matter, though, because I still had to wait over an hour to see him. On the other hand, all of the news was good, so I'm feeling pretty happy. I feel like dissipating. I think that I'll have a huge steak and a bottle of good wine.

Here's a breakfast buffet, so everybody can get what they want.

Fabulous, Em! I love buffets. Finally, in my old age I've learned how to enjoy them without feeling like I'll never be able to eat again afterwards. Thank you.

Exquisite, Try!

I really am starting to get concerned about Emeritus though. He always at the very least stops by and says his hello. I hope he's okay.

Wanted to pop in an apologize for not popping in lately.
Just been EXHAUSTED!
Literally can't keep my eyes open for more than a while.
Should have listened to Rob sooner and talked to Doc about it - he finally INSISTED I call the Doc and I found out I have developed anemia. I don't know if any of you have ever been here..... but it truly zaps ANY energy and alertness from your body. I should have known it's just not normal to sleep entire days away (even if you are old and pregnant)
I'll be fine and baby is still doing well.... hopefully on track to wake up soon !

So happy to see my team will be keeping their QB!
Rob thinks he's now over paid..... I say "HELL! The rest of the players in the league would demand it if they can and he's been pretty fair with his demands until now" The Pats surely couldn't afford to see him walk and I'm glad he will be around for at least a few more years! :D :D :D

Hey woman! Great to see you here--I miss you when you don't visit. Glad you went to the doctor--you should know not to mess around when anything irregular happens, bad girl! I remember being old and pregnant very well. I didn't even start having my children until I was in my mid-thirties, and as you know, I had four of them. I never had anemia, but I did have my share of oopsies. How close are you to delivering my godson?

Hey Maine, I've known several women that went through that while pregnant. Gots to keep on top of it for the little guy. ;)

So Brady is currently the highest paid player in the NFL.... I guess now Peyton will get his contract done and something tells me it will be just a tad bit higher.... LOL

Not until Dec.... I can't wait!
Sucks it has been so hard for us... I really wanted to have 2 - I just don't think I can do this again. If I had another child to take care of right now I have no idea what I would do.
I should have known - I know. I'm kind of stubborn and was trying to tough it out thinking I was just being a wimp.
My sister has very ban anemia and I should have known the signs..... but until now my blood work has been perfect... so I thought it was just me being lazy. I'm still very tired - I'm sure it will take a while for my iron to come back up. I DO need to be less stubborn.... this could have really been bad for baby and me if it had gone on much longer.

We have another "date" with the little guy next week!

You can bet on that Try....

You know Manning will want to "one up" the deal.

I just hope Brady stays healthy -

Anemia is apparently quite common - Babies like to suck the life out of heir moms!

Hey Maine, I've known several women that went through that while pregnant. Gots to keep on top of it for the little guy. ;)

There is absolutely NO comparison between Peyton and Brady. Peyton has proven over and over again (sorry Reeceykins ;-)) that he is THE man! Whether or not you like him, you have to appreciate what a brilliant QB he is--year after year after year, he leads his team to winning seasons. Brady was well-protected and had an arsenal of tremendous receivers (Welker for one  ). He has never matched that couple of seasons, and now with the injuries--well, I think we'll see this year if he is worth that kind of money. My bet is, he is not... (Sorry Maine and PAO--wherever you are.)

I think if he stays healthy he will prove himself.
Of course there is the fear he will not live up to expectations... and lots of other players would like nothing more than to make sure he is out for some more games.
Every great player has and will have an off year here and there..... Hopefully Brady will bounce back and have a great year.

Welker has just become the heart and soul of our team. You can HATE the Patriot but have to admire his determination. If the whole team played with his heart at their last Superbowl appearance - they would have been champions again.

That is too weird. Everything I wrote in that last post was wiped out when I "submitted" it. It was pretty long, too. Bottom line: Brady can't shine Peyton's shoes. Peyton deserves whatever they give him in a new contract, as he's proven himself year after year after year. Brady was a flash in the pan. He was well-protected and had an arsenal of amazing receivers (Welker for one  ). He has never been as good as his first couple of years, and I think we will see Mr. Huge Pay Check (this coming season) is not so Ai yi yi. I'm just sayin'...

Maine: My babies were all quite large and as each pregnancy progressed, I swore I would never have another. Something just happens when they are born and you hold their little bodies and look at their mushed up little faces. I know I would forget all the discomforts of the pregnancy as soon as I saw my babies and immediately knew I would have another.

Rub it in, why don't you, Maine ;) ? You DO remember where Welker came from, don't you? Dolphans, to this day, are bitter about that trade. It was just one of many enormous errors that have been made over the past few years by Dolphin HQ.

We just lost another player with the same qualities. Jason Taylor will surely make the JETS' defense a better entity--and his enthusiasm is infused throughout the entire team.
