Yeah CK, I figured you wouldn't be too upset about Reggie's leg being snapped. Seahawks play the Saints later this season. With luck we won't have to deal with him either. I still don't like seeing such a talented player get taken down like that.

So am I. Can't you tell?

And by the way... was I WRONG? Are you NOT paying homage to him by having his name on your profile photo? That you don't often refer to him (yes, in joking fashion)? Which is it?

I hate seeing any player get hurt, (ponders Brady) yeah injuries suck especially if it's one of your "impact" players.

I'm glad we don't have to deal with the Saints this year, but if we did I would surely prefer to play them while Reggie Bush was out...

After the Texans playing them in preseason, I still think that the Saints are the team to beat.

Why not...the Steelers have proved that they can win 2 Super Bowls without really beating their opponents.

It seemed to me that, even before the training camps, the media were trying to crown the Jets as the Super Bowl champions. Their coach encouraged that with more big talk than I've ever heard from a head coach. Is is just because so many sportswriters and commentators are from New York?

Every year the sports media picks their "darling" for the year. And its always one of the teams that has a huge market share for the television viewing audience. It's nothing new. Media in general are all about "hype" and building up to the grand finale. It's stupid really. Yeah, the Jets made some great off-season moves. But that's NOTHING if those moves don't result in wins on the field.

What you said! I've seen time after time when those great moves weren't a good fit and didn't result in wins.

Well...the Seahawks are 1-1. The Cowboys are 0-2. Yet they are ranked HIGHER on all the sports media Power Rankings. What does THAT tell you? Wins and numbers don't matter...its bias.

LOL, I think that the Texans are ranked unrealistically high, but I've been enjoying all week. I'm afraid that it won't last.

I think the Texans are an exception to the bias rule and are just doing their thing and earning that respect. They are, after all, TEXANS. "America's state" right?
