I think we'll take a QB in this draft but won't reach for them too far no matter what we do otherwise. Unless Kap lowers his salary and the Niners lower their expectations for a draft pick, Elway will pass. Fitz is another longshot option but an expensive one so I doubt that would ever happen.

I'm terrified but we may just end up running with Sanchez.....That might be painful to watch....lol.

I think Cook will be there and if he is we take him The price on RG3 contract was 2 years 15 million Too much for him I think But that alone will out price Fitz.

Fitz's agent says he wants 17 million....a year....lol.

I think RGIII just lowered the market price a bit.

I think we'd take Cook too if he's there but he won't play next year at all if Denver is wise. It will be either Sanchez or Siemian starting unless they bring in Kap or Fitz.

I think the only realistic option left is Kap. I don't see Elway bringing in anyone else except maybe in the draft.

Just as we thought the QB in Denver will be Kap or that Sanchez fellow, here steps up another QB with a foot in the door maybe

I would like to see us somehow weasel Carson Wentz or Conner Cook in the draft. Even Kap is a big gamble. Rumor is Denver took a pass on RGIII because of concerns about his character. And Fitzgerald wants twice what he's worth. Pretty shitty options at QB out in free agency this year.

** That would be great, don't see it happening, what is worse is SF standing pat with Kap on 4/1. We'll really be strapped with butt fumble and Siemans (sp) I know JE usually has an ace up his sleeve it looks like were going have a 6 & 8 showing.

Trading Clady could be part of moving up in draft choices.

Seems like I'm not the only one who has thoughts of trading DT. So much talk that this columnist who call himself Ozark Orange has written an article to give you the price tag that a trade would cost the Broncos. The Trade will hit the cap but will save us money this year as apposed to waiting to release him next season by not picking up his option. That being said he will probably play his butt off this season because it is an option year at the start of next. I think next years option will help the team trade him this year and the price is right to sign our defense back or get replacements. Also again Cleveland needs a #1 receiver. That second pick would get that RB we need and may give RG3 the weapon (Ha Ha) he needs in Cleveland. we also don't have to trade picks John could end up with 2 first round picks the 2 and the 31 which could be used to pick the QB of the future

I love all the talk about Demaryius Thomas and how terrible he (and his contract) is. How can Denver fans ignore what Thomas has done since his arrival in Denver? Despite terrible QB play this season, DT still went over 100 receptions and 1,300 yards. Yes, he does have some untimely drops, but he's still hovering around a 5% drop rate (compares to Brandon Marshall for reference). He's one of the best WRs in the game and what he does for the running game cannot be ignored.

...now all that said, I'm not a fan of paying any skill guy tons of money. I didn't want Denver to overspend to keep him, but I'm fine with the deal Denver has with him. Both he and Sanders will excel in Kubiak's system with a QB that actually fits the scheme.

Speaking of that, I am probably in a minority here, but I like the Sanchez deal. Dude is a very capable QB that can manage a game. He's athletic enough to keep a play alive and at this point of his career, he gets what his role is. When he was drafted by the Jets, he was supposed to be a savior. Took them to the AFC Championship game in his first two years too. Here's the thing though, Sanchez isn't an Elway. He can't put a team on his back and go win a football game for you. That said, he can absolutely make the correct reads, hand the ball off, and manage a game for you. In other words, he fits perfectly in a Gary Kubiak offense. Is he the long term solution? Not at all. But I do think Denver can win the AFC West and make some noise in the playoffs with him at the helm. With Denver's defense returning 9 starters and their running game operating correctly, the QB position needs to be competent. Sanchez can do that.

So who's my fit for Denver? Dak Prescott. It's been explained on multiple sites multiple times, so I won't bore you with why, but he's the guy I want Denver to go get. Let Sanchez start this year and see how quickly Prescott progresses. If the kid is ready this year, great. Give him the keys. If not, develop him for a year and roll him out for the 2017-2018 season. Sanchez would be moved to veteran backup, and Denver would be in great shape.

...anyways, that's my two cents...

** The other thing about Prescott you left off, he will probably be there at 31 when we pick, who knows maybe he'll still be there later on with our second pick, when was that again? 12th of never?

I'm not ready to say goodbye to DT just yet. I think we are going to give him one more year to prove himself. Elway won't deal him this offseason. I am more and more ok with the Sanchez signing as time goes on. Part of that is due to the serious lack of quality FA QBs this year and part is as mentioned, he is capable of managing a game for you. If this defense can operate on the same level as last year we should be good.

Lol, if Vernon Davis is the most overrated player on the Broncos I can live with that  All the guy did was cherry pick a Superbowl ring off us hahaha. Most of the rest of the stars on this team earn the title. DT may be second but if you look at his career as a whole for us he has done pretty good. Much better than Dez Bryant who we could've taken with that pick.

One more day before Kap's money become guaranteed. Will They or won't they trade him. The Broncos will have a problem trading for him with the (Kap ) money we have available. The team only has 3.6 million in cap room. Now don't get me wrong about DT I just don't like paying a man to be the leader in drops for the year when we have other options. I just really know that in order to get the best RB or QB in the up coming draft you have to give a team something. IMO DT is special enough to draw some interest. and Cleveland needs a WR. If there was anyone else that they would want that would get the #2 pick I would gladly send them instead. Sanders will need more money to stay here next season. Remember he came cheap to play with Manning. He'll leave if we can't pay him next season. He has IMO been the best WR on the team the last 2 seasons. Yes DT has the stats but he was thrown to more. I want to see Taylor Jordan and get a look at what Manning saw. Peyton knows football and he also knows talent and he gave this kid great reviews. So Nothing with The trade for me but position in the draft. If we keep him fine. I still think the second best RB in the draft fall to us. Henry will look good in a Broncos helmet.
